Today is Tisha B’Av - the ninth day of the sixth biblical month on the Jewish calendar. According to Jewish tradition that day is the same day both temples in Jerusalem were destroyed nearly 600 years apart. The first by the Neo Babylonian empire in 586 BC and the latter by the Roman Empire in 70AD Jews are planning to visit the Temple Mount this morning as they do every day from Sunday to Thursday. Hamas in Gaza warned Israel in recent days not to allow Jews today into the Temple Mount grounds. Will that be their excuse to join the war alongside the Islamic Jihad? We will know in just a few hours! |

Israeli fighter jets attacked a terrorist tunnel belonging to the Palestinian Islamic Jihad terrorist organization . The tunnel was intended to be used by offensive forces of the terrorist organization and did not cross into Israeli territory.

Another failed Palestinian shooting in Jebalia, Gaza, there are apparently dead and wounded Palestinians as a result of the failed launch. Despite the Palestinians' claims of an IDF attack, the IDF clarifies that no attack was carried out in the area. So far 160 Palestinian rockets have landed in the Gaza Strip. |
