Nice one

But honestly what's the point?

You gave someone N10 and collect back N9.99 ?

So what's the point?

Even the minimum wage, how many states can afford to pay? They increased electricity tarriff, price of diesel and gas have increased, now call and data charges are being hiked by 5% or is it 7%?

We are with Labour

The minimum wage should be #70,000 as someone rightly said.

The FG

Only NLC has the capacity to shut down the economy. I wish they will go ahead with that, let everyone rest for 1 week.

Thandiubani:
Imagine governors want to reduce retirement age to 50, but they are supporting old and tired men above 70 who forged certificates to become president. One is an alleged drug baron while the other is in court to determine if he’s truly a Nigerian. It’s only a mad person that will vote for APC again after the horror Buhari made us pass through.

#ObiDatti

A vote for Obi is a vote for Nigerian youths.
so Nigeria youth start from 60+?

if they increase salary, where do you think the money is gonna come from? Your butthole?

How did you think you got to this level of inflation?

They doubled minimum wage, and inflation tripled.. but you couldn't see the corelation?

Make Una kuku ma auction Nigeria on OLX....from there, if na with profit or lose ....make citizens collect their shares.

Or, where will Nigeria see money to increase wages by 50% at this time?
Re: Nigerian Workers, NLC Demand 50 Per Cent Salary Increase Over Biting Inflation by einsteine(m): 10:31pm On Aug 13, 2022
And do they realise a 50% increase in salary will lead to an even higher increase in inflation? And that the government will need to borrow to pay it? The NLC leaders want bribes.

APC Presidential candidates paid 100 million naira to buy form. That doesn't increase inflation.

Tinubu and Atiku bribed delegates with USD. That also doesn't increase inflation.

Buhari gets USD for foreign medical trips. That doesn't increase inflation.

But when workers ask for an appropriate salary increase, it will increase inflation.

Weh done

Instead of 50%, when everything has
increased by over 300%, it's better to
just leave things as they are.

The most useless NLC leadership so far☹️☹️☹️

lol. sincerely speaking, abacha is far better than Oga bubu. if it were to be abacha in control, all these privileged terrorists would have met their Waterloo.
at least nigerian lives would have been safer.
foreign fulani-terrorists will not be invading our nation, killing the citizens and still be cashing out consistently.
Abacha, a no nonsense man- may his stubborn soul rest in peace.
Abacha is far better than Oga bubu, because at least Abacha have a little bit of a sense of social justice, unlike Oga bubu.

Labour Leaders that could not protect the Workers in Nigeria all this while with Millions of Workers whose Entitlements and Pensions and Gratuity have been eroded and many have died, now wants a changed System! Are we not really jazzed?
Thousands,if not Millions of Cases are lying down fallow in the Nigerian Courts! If this is not enough to go on strike, for the Populace, then what else do our Labour Leaders doing?
The problem is not Peter Obi coming to labour party but the fake and fraudulent structures of Labour Leaders, who are hiding there in Labour Party can never stand!
They chose to be traveling to Geneva,London,USA and South Africa when the Masses were being peuaperised . So their strike notice now is dead on arrival!
Shame to our Labour Leaders!

Re: Nigerian Workers, NLC Demand 50 Per Cent Salary Increase Over Biting Inflation by smileyoo: 11:13pm On Aug 13, 2022
though it tempting to believe that salary increase will do wonders to the workforce, by the reason of rapid increase in prices of goods and services, but it's a fallacy, because without addressing the root cause of the price increase, inflation may still swallow the salary increase.
why can't the NLC agitate for an end to official corruption in government ?
why can't NLC agitate for the building of new refineries, and an end to the importation of pms ?
why can't NLC agitate for an end to medical tourism by government officials ?
why can't NLC agitate for a free and compulsory education, to every Nigerian citizens ?
why can't NLC agitate for a workers friendly government, by taking over the government through their support of labour party in 2023 elections ?
it's time NLC think beyond salary increase and agitate for a workable social system.

Won't this lead to more inflation? As in, prices of things will increase more because traders and business owners will believe government has released more fund to people

Mehn, economic policies can be very confusing atimes
Well, traders and business owners, despite salary being stagnant, have continued to jack up the price of goods and services. Perhaps a hyper-inflation is the best way to get the government and its price control board to do their damn jobs.

Jeez, why real governance just too hard for this shitbunch of leaders!
