The NLC should demand a reduction in all the allowances and benefits payable to politicians. This will free up money to be used in helping the dying economy out of the self-induced destruct mode the same politicians plunged it into but will they ever do this?

though it tempting to believe that salary increase will do wonders to the workforce, by the reason of rapid increase in prices of goods and services, but it's a fallacy, because without addressing the root cause of the price increase, inflation may still swallow the salary increase.
why can't the NLC agitate for an end to official corruption in government ?
why can't NLC agitate for the building of new refineries, and an end to the importation of pms ?
why can't NLC agitate for an end to medical tourism by government officials ?
why can't NLC agitate for a free and compulsory education, to every Nigerian citizens ?
why can't NLC agitate for a workers friendly government, by taking over the government through their support of labour party in 2023 elections ?
it's time NLC think beyond salary increase and agitate for a workable social system.
