Well, you are not versed in how promotions happen in Access Bank. Take for instance, you can attain 3 promotions in 3yrs in Access Bank if your Full Year appraisal score is always A star, for those 3 yrs (This is very difficult though but not impossible). On the other hand, If you always scored A, then you can achieve 3 promotions in 6 years. Basis for promotion in Access Bank is very clear and straightforward. This is also very fair since no one can really expect to be promoted every single year. It is not realistic because promotions are very expensive.

For the fact that the bank promotes staff every year is a pointer to the fact that distinction is regularly rewarded. A new staff should look to this and see how they can key into it regardless of what fraud you are insinuating.

There is no perfect system and issues by disgruntled staff concerning appraisals will always persist.

But while some others complain and lament, others continue to grow from strength to strength, reaching new heights every single appraisal cycle. If you feel your team stagnates your progress, you should learn the required skills and move to another team.

I applied for the tech program but I was moved into the graduate program maybe as a result of my base discipline or current professional experience.

Please I need to make a decision soon about whether I should continue with the process or not and this hinges on the possible departments I can be posted into under the graduate program.

Obviously there are some departments that will prefer graduates with numerical sciences background while some other departments (e.g. Legal or Corporate comms) will have a preference for graduates who have certain degrees.
