You must have heard of project Thor aka kinetic bombardment Funnily it was simple and workable, only problem was getting them to space , given the weight of the tungsten rods A 8 ton tungsten rod on release from space would yield energy equivalent to around 12 tons of TNT on impact , impact speed would be around 8-10 Mach Imagine 100s of such rods descending on a city , would obliterate it or rather bury it 1 Like
