If you know you are an employer, and you have the habit of taking too long(for no reason) to get back to potential employees after they've submitted their CV or done their interview, you better stop that nonsense, Because you could miss out on hiring a good employee.. Most of these guy submit multiple job applications and before you've taken all the time on earth to make your decision to call them back you might be surprised to know that they've gotten often times than not, a better paying job.. That was how one man I genuinely wanted to work for with all my mind for 30k a month POS job, after doing the interview, it took him more three weeks to call me to resume work, after I've gotten a janitor job that paid 18k weekly... If you know you truly need their services, don't waste too much time before you employ someone

Aswear one company like that got back to me 2 solid years after I had submitted my CV, did interview, was successful, but it was already too late because I had already started work in a wonderful company.

For the next couple of days they kept calling me to accept the offer and resume work.

In my opinion most of them have gotten some one but due to some factors and they person they got resigned or couldn't cope then they go back to the pool of CVs to pick from to replace instead of calling for another job recruitment

It is easy to criticize from the outside. The reality is, we do most of the things we criticize when/if we find ourselves in the position of those we're criticizing. Yes, response time can always be improved. But then again, it is worth noting that the poor response time isn't necessarily because HR wants to keep the candidate waiting. There are factors that lead to this such as the number of candidates, interviewers availability, approval process, etc.
