The first meeting for reconciliation between Atiku and Wike was held in his house and for him to have said this, means there is something Atiku is not doing right.

As per your 'stooping so low', that mentality needs to change especially when it comes to public service.

I remember when former British Prime Minister John Major was to contest for London Mayor several years after leaving office as Prime Minister and only chickened out at the 11th hour.

It's not by who becomes what first.
Some people became LG chairman or councilor (which is their highest achievement in politics) when some were still struggling to be known and later became councilor, chairman, HA member and later became a governor.
