Nice one cheerful. You've done noble. Thanks bro. You're a real hustler and a good man.

This thing with you, pearl and other guys here is really immature. You guys are OG here. Even if I'm older than majority of you, I still respect your hustling spirit. You really motivate me so much even at my age .

You guys don't really need all these unnecessary competition/betting and name calling. I'm not really comfortable with all of this but then, whatever you guys decide! You're matured men! I think the purpose of this thread is to assist each other. Nobody knows it all. Nobody is perfect. I really do not like what you guys have turned this thread into. You're a big time hustler cheerful, just like pearl, bazz, Dru, pope, felicity, Glit, yeye, don, etc. If you think deep, you will understand that all these beef is worthless!

If you guys can put a stop to this and move on, but still give us dubs on how to succeed in this hustle, it will go a long way in assisting a lot of us.

The truth is, I'm really disgusted with all of this.

I won't say anything about this again. I'll just be reading.

Goodnight all.

Some riders now have this bad habit of booking from 2 different apps. If one end up becoming the lucky champ, it feels like you are the one that knows how to do it best and kingkong. If it goes the other way, demoralisation sets in and it feels like placing a curse on the rider.

It happened to me on Tuesday, tho she entered my car, but I felt bad for the other driver. I really wish we could have this oneness where we both don't embark on such trip, just drive away and let the rider book another ride. That same 5 to 10 mins she can't afford to wait, let's see if she won't spend another 20 mins trying to get a ride.

Inbtw: when you see 2 people in same location trying to book a ride to same destination. Just know that whatever happens at the pick is on you, most especially if you give them price.

I was at barger suya one night along the mile 2 traffic when I got this request first in bolt and then another in Uber.

She called on bolt in-app and told me where she was, then called on normal call on uber sighting the same PUP...

Her current trip car had issues, the driver said his car just suddenly went off and wouldn't start.

She didn't noticed she was expect the same driver on both apps after the names are different... I arrive on bolt and the wait time for almost 30min still counting the traffic that night was crazy and the girl kept calling and texting... I later changed my mind not to go on the trip again then I opened up to you I was same person. She won.cry that night.

I told her next time request on one app and not the both. That was the reason I told for not coming because she's having a double standard

2)
I think turning at the traffic light back to lekki would be closed. The flyover will likely drop at that lane . So the space won't be enough for that. The u-turn is now a bit further opposite landmark. The lane has been done.
1) From Ajah... Na to go turn for eleganza (b4 toll gate) chai!!

Let's see how it pans out on ground...cos my bustop is usually Chevron...it's been a while I reach that axis.
They are both referring to motorist coming from VGC/Ikota Shopping/Eleganza to to Aja. There is a U turn before the LCC tollgate. So which one is the new U turn again.

Then people going from Ikota Villa to Lekki, are they going to turn under Ajah bridge?
Abi has d new bridge in front of Northwest been completed?

You still don't get it.

Human psychology. Riders trust indriver more because no surge. They'll rather pay higher on in driver unknowningly/knowningly, than use bolt.

I just did a 30min trip from cmd to surulere for 3k.

It was 1700 on Bolt. Drivers were cancelling on him. How will you collect 1700, and still pay 25%? No be juju be be that?

The idea is to milk the 10% commission till they start pride. Bolt started from 0%. We know as e dey go. Pride must enter Las Las, and they'll still crash. I'll rather gross 30k and pay 2850, than gross 30k and pay 7500 on Bolt because of loyalty. I'm loyal but my mom raised no fool. I can never be loyal to no app. Bolt makes like difficult. They deserve no loyalty.

Yes, I know. Riders prefer that rest of mind knowing what they will pay irrespective of traffic conditions.

Also they can entice Drivers with high amount for very short trips or trips to forbidden areas which ordinarily we will reject on Bolt or Uber.

This thing you are saying were part of the genesis of the issues I have with Pearl. If you can find so much satisfaction with 10%. Imagine us that started out with zero%. Even when Indriver starts taking the 10%, grand drivers don't pay, just cancel after 5mins. They were owning me up to 25k, I practically don't sub the app before they tighten up. Now, once you cancel too much, your rating drops and prolly blocking you for hours. All effort to make folks see this, return as insults from him. It is all good, won't say Indriver is the best thing, because once they start feeling important. Then, man will have to switch to the next best alternative. No time to idolise any app.

and you'll still HAPPILY pay 750 and be left with 2250 for that trip. If I collect 2700 on indriver for that same trip, I earned more than you.

The danger is when Indriver raises commission, Riders will not change and will still put the prices they are used to fixing. What happens then. U guys should stop accepting ridiculous prices just because commission is 10%. It might suit u today but more hungry rental drivers will soon come onboard and u will not be able to control the wave like u r doing now.

They've closed the turning at VGC. People coming out from VGC will use the Uturn at Ikota, while those coming from Eleganaza gardens estate will use the new uturn by Landmark/Ikota shopping complex.

It simply means that, All traffic coming from Ikota axis/Mega chicken etc will no longer be able to turn at VGC, but at Ikota complex, they don't have to reach Ajah under bridge.

While traffic from Ajah that needs to go back to either Ilaje, mobile road, Abraham etc will drive down to Ikota uturn by second tollgate.

Okay I get, d new U turn is in front of landmark after VGC traffic light for people coming from Mega chicken or Ikota Villa inward Lekki to turn from.
VGC traffic light has been blocked. No more turning there.
So VGC, Ikota Shopping people going to Aja axis will go to d U turn before LCC tollgate to turn and face Ajah.
Hopefully this reduces the traffic at that spot. So technically no more traffic light. It's zoom zoom zoom in that intersection. Since nobody is crossing the road. Good one for visitors and passerby but bad for people living and doing business in that axis.

That means no more turning at VGC traffic light, if you are coming out from VGC you go forward and turn then face Ajah.

If you are coming from Ajah you'll use the new U-turn before VGC, u may not have to get to VGC again.
In other words VGC turning will be blocked or closed permanently.
