It's really annoying especially for experience hire roles. We do not need to waste each others time during interviews when we both know the remuneration will most likely be the deal breaker.

To be fair, the word important is quite subjective. For instance, salary range in job ads will only become important if it forms part of the labour laws in this part of the world.

I beg to differ. There are two things we hide in Nigeria: age and salary.

Because of our ovasabi, we rarely share those pieces of information with people. Sometimes, we even lie about it.

Now, HR personnel are using it against us and you are here complaining. They will hide it in the hopes that experts will underprice themselves during interviews and HR personnel will save the company some money and take credit for it.

Yes, despite the fact that you'll be doing 10people work they'll still feel like they are doing you a favour.

My formal company is so annoying, the job is 24h 7days a week, you work morning and night and Saturday and Sunday. 1am 2am 5am round the clock 7days a week you are on call all for a peanut salary.

I think this happens mostly in Nigeria and you pass through a whole lot of stress before they tell you how much they want to offer.

Well, Nigeirian economy is struggling. The boss is kukuma just sharing his daily stress with you.
The best bet, keep your eyes and senses open.
Once you start detecting unnecessary stress in the process, just bail out. Because the rest can never be any better than that.
Same with where I work.
I only work here because the man is a good Christian.
Minus that O, the stress don pass the pay, and I saw that right from the very first day, before I even entered sef.

It's a very silly recruitment style. Let the person know to avoid unnecessary stress on your path and the person. What if after all the drilling in the name of interview, your salary is too low for the person. You've wasted your time and that of the applicant. In Nigeria i think we have a lot of time to waste. And HRs are mostly jobless so they want to have fun interviewing people and wasting time to look busy. Whatever your business ethics says or HR books says is crap. This 2022, suck it up.
