I am with you about the experiments. I won't give him a hard time about experimenting because that is his best option for now, especially when you consider they have not really brought anyone in. It may take him between 5-7 matches before he can get good sense of preferred players that will adapt to how he wants to play.

Training is not even the best parameter because some players train well under new coaches because they want playing time but when match start na dem go spoil the tactics for everybody. Being a new coach for a struggling team is very rough because you are starting over again with the same dead woods and it is difficult to gauge their response.

In one of Edu's recent interviews, he did say that the target was for us to become real competitive this season, and that if we had qualified for UCL last season, we would have been a year early.

I think it is convenient to read in between that statement and conclude that the target is for us to actually become real competitive this season and make Top 4. Of course if we have the chance to win the league, that will be a greater achievement as well, like if we had qualified for UCL last season.

I have not even read or heard any Arsenal biased pundit that our target is to win the league. We should just say our minimum target is to make Top 4, Like our minimum target last season was Top 6. The only reason it's looking it might be easy is because we are wining and all the other Top 6 are dropping points, especially Man U that is yet to find it's rhythm. But let's not forget that the season is just starting. This time last season we had 0 point, but at the end we almost made Top 4. No team should be written off yet.

We should just focus on our lane, one match after the other... if we end up wining the league, Thank God.
