#NBA: How Kashim Shettima Outsmarted Peter Obi And Atiku With His Dress Code And Eloquent Presentation Matters Arising

When you are a child of grace, even honour will come before you in all your endeavours. The internet was buzzing yesterday as a result of former Borno State Governor Kashim Shettima's attire at the ongoing NBA conference, in which both the LP presidential candidate and the PDP presidential candidate were in attendance.

In local parlance, my people go say na ONE THING go lead to SOMETHING. This is so true that the dress code of a Vice Presidential candidate has led the world to know the oratory prowess and capability of his personality.

Shettima outperformed himself in his speech, which was hailed as more than presidential; what was supposed to be a kind of humiliation turned out to be an abundance of blessing.

Psalm 23:5
5 You prepare a table before me in the presence of my enemies; You anoint my head with oil; my cup runs over.

Isn't it odd that a vice presidential candidate could surpass the front-runners of the other major parties? Truth be told, Shettima stole the show with his attire and presentation to the point where people are still unsure if the LP and PDP presidential candidates attended the event. This is what we mean when we talk about grace.

I must sincerely thank Shettima for being unique, which opened the door for people to further investigate his speech and prior accomplishments in greater detail. Indeed, Shettima has demonstrated that consistency pays off; Lagos State is what it is today because successive governments followed the master plan of Lagos as laid out years ago during Tinubu's administration.

Now consider Borno, a Northern State that is home to Boko Haram, and evaluate its level of development in relation to other States. Which Northern State can boast of the kind of growth Borno has experienced over the past eight years?

If not for the hopelessness that State must have previously experienced, consider what factors contributed to the emergence of Boko Haram in Borno. Apart from Tinubu, Shettima is the only Governor who is at peace with his successor. Shettima began the reconstruction of Borno, and it has continued to this day.

These are issues that need to be addressed; the fact that Cubana Chief Priest wears sneakers on Agbada does not change the fact that he is a celebrity bartender who has done well for himself.

Yesterday, the Golden Boy, as we now refer to Shettima, outwitted Peter Obi and Atiku's aura.

Imagine a VP candidate taking over the stage where Presidential candidates were present; Shettima's head is anointed in oil, and his cup overflows.

I see what you are trying to do here. Trying to turn the table on its head akin to reverse psychology... Well, just wanted to let you know that you failed miserably. It's not working at least for me.

Exactly the same way they packaged Buhari before 2015 presidential election, they were sending Prof Osibanjo for intellectual functions, while covering Buhari, they've started again,
It would've been best to compare Obi's speech to Tinubu at NBA conference held yesterday, Shettima is not APC presidential candidate, this is same way they packaged Buhari and Osibanjo, they ended up messing Nigeria economy up with huge debt,
insecurity and what have you, APC are in charge not opposition, I wonder solution Shettima have for insecurity that he couldn't show to their leader Buhari?
Under Shettima watch Borno became headquarter of terrorist in Nigeria, this is same man that want to be in charge of security, he was blaming GEJ for his incompetence when he was governor, I wonder why he is not blaming Buhari and himself after they promised to end Boko haram in Nigeria.

What economy solution do Tinubu have that he couldn't relate with Buhari?
Most of the incompetent ministers and head of agencies it was Tinubu's recommendations to Buhari, like former minister of finance, it was Tinubu that recommended former FIRS boss that stole Nigeria dry, Fashola was ministers of power for four years without tangible achievement in power sector, these are Tinubu's men.
Tinubu largely contributed to Nigeria mess, Nigeria economy is nose diving with huge debt, Nigeria at this time doesn't need wasteful Tinubu, no time for Owambe party at this critical time of our fragile economy, no time for rascality.
Look at Lagos State debt almost half of all the sates in Nigeria and no hope of reducing, Lagos is the smallest State by landmass, with the huge IGR and federal allocation still little to show.
Nigeria at this this stage need Obi with frugal nature to manage our resources, he has been tested and trusted, he has the capacity, the wisdom to change Nigeria bad economy to flourish, before he became governor in Anambra, Anambra State economy was in total mess, he did all his projects without borrowing, cleared all backlogs of salaries, pensions and gratuities by previous administrations, invested for the state and save #75 billion for his successor, reduced Anambra State debt to the lowest in the country

Shettima's speech is what you would expect from someone who is capable of leading a complex country like Nigeria, not the rambling, exerggerated nonsense from Obi.

I get that you have a job to do and I appreciate that you are doing it fervently against all conceivable odds. Perhaps you are being supervised at the moment to ensure that you are doing it right..

Well, whatever dire situation you are in right now, it's important that you know that this sudden 'burst of literary energy' is best redirected to anyone else here other than me. I don't want to be the reason for anyone losing their means of livelihood. This country is already hard enough to survive in, no thanks to your smart candidate and his equally bright cohorts.

Cheers

Zikojukwu:
10 Ways Tinubu & APC Think Nigerians Are Foolish

1. Tinubu believes Nigerians don't know their left from their right so they can't choose between a living from the dead, from good and bad. So they can just blindly vote any dead man because their brains aren't working. After all we voted for Buhari.

2. Tinubu believes that we have not suffered enough to make a change as a nation. He thinks Nigerians don't get tired of dying, burying our loved ones and it's not our right to demand a change.

3. Tinubu is daring Nigerians believing they don't have the will to rise up. He believes Nigerians are very hungry and a spray of his least dollar note will make Nigerians roll on the floor for him.

4. Tinubu thinks Nigerians are so gullible or lazy to know the truth about his drug peddling details.

5. Tinubu thinks Nigerians are so foolish that we don't know what happens in Lagos some blurry ago and expects us to use the fake achievements to vote him not minding his fast fading health.

6. Tinubu thinks Nigerians don't want peace and unity and believes that a divided, chaotic Nigeria is better than a united Nigeria. Politicians loot more in a divided Nigeria than in a united Nigeria.

7. Tinubu thinks that Nigerians can't differentiatie between Buhari who came as a messiah from Tinubu who wants to come as an undertaker.

9. Tinubu thinks Nigerians are too blind to see that he is very sick, weak, frail and dying. He can't even stand a 20 minute interview or press talk without major goofs. He is has been hiding pretending he is playing politics.

10. Tinubu thinks Nigerians don't bother about his past records, source of wealth, primary and secondary education and take everything as politics. He doesn't know Nigerians are tired of politics but looking for a serious and honest leader.

Eeyaa, defending a mediocre candidate like Obi is a bigger headache than whatever job you might think I'm doing.
Finally, it is beginning to dawn on you all that lies and distortions can only take you so far. Campaigns have not even started yet.
