I watched the video somewhere yesterday and I just smiled.

Nigerians are talented, no doubt but I just wonder why out talent is mostly used dubiously.

I pray we soon have a government that helps us channel our abilities to good and positive uses only, by creating conducive and rewarding atmosphere for talent to thrive.

Other countries have passed this stage in terms of technology but Nigeria have decided to remain backward. Instead of going after bandits and Fulani herdsmen, they're going after the producers of plate number.

When you have unpaid armed robbers in uniforms extorting innocent civilians in broad daylight walking freely and no one says anything about it. My friend's family had to cough out 50 Million naira recently. Kidnapped for 5 days and his girlfriend serially raped right before him. His relative was shot in the head right before his eyes.

Stories like this do not make the news and no one cares. The Nigerian police force is looking for weed smokers and people on dread locks. It will get to a state where we all would need to carry assault rifles to protect ourselves by ourselves. There will soon be no need for the police.
