2023: I Only Know APC Candidates – Buhari Warns Decamped Party Members by Kwanza(op): 7:07pm On Aug 24, 2022

President Muhammadu Buhari has made it clear he will only campaign for the candidates of the All Progressives Congress (APC) in the 2023 elections.

According to Garba Shehu, presidential spokesperson, Buhari will not recognise former members of the party or politicians who have court cases against APC candidates.

This was contained in a statement on Wednesday.

“The Presidency wishes to put it on record, and at the same time, reassure faithful party members that President Muhammadu Buhari remains a “disciplined soldier” of the All Progressives Congress, APC, and will, in all the coming elections, support only those candidates fielded by the party and no other,” the statement read in part.

It added that, “This is a warning to decamped party members and some others who are still in court against official candidates of the APC that they are on their own and nobody outside the party tent should link what they are doing to President Buhari.”

Thank your Baba Buhari for this parting gift,no more using the Goodwill of the name of the president to camp for other candidates in other parties.
That was the battle the great Comrade Adams Oshiomole fought 3 years ago in lmo with Sen Okorocha and Sen Amosun in Ogun state.
But the truth is very bitter,Baba Buhari's Goodwill has dwindled exceedingly, I'm very sure if there's a presidential election called today,Baba Buhari will even lose his local government.
I take solace in the words of the president, the APC is about to go into another election,let everyone fall into line or get ready to be shipped out.

Very clueless even as a party man, I wonder how I was able to vote for this dull Brian in 2015..may God forgive me ..we all that voted for buharia should all embark on 40 days fasting and prayers seeking for mercy from God ...the ach Bishop of the agbadorians really decieved us back then...but who need his support? Is not the same person that supported AJ who was doing well jejely suddenly every body just dey beat the poor guy as if he stole goat in the market square

I don't understand. Where they expecting Buhari to campaign for them in another party ?. For me any Southern politician campaigning with Buhari's picture or influence is comfortably losing the election. Maybe his influence can work In the northern part though.
