Chief, if there's a guy who wanted SR to succeed at Barca, it's me. When he replaced Alves he was really good. Can't forget his first few games especially the one against Betis in 2017. I think he got 3 assist in that game, really connected with Messi and was indeed excellent.

I loved him because he was the first La masia graduate to be promoted to the first team and as a regular since the days of Pedro and Busquet. I had high hopes

But man....

It turns out that Roberto was/is in deed very average. Like really average!!!

Go and watch all our humiliation in Europe and some of the games we lost heavily then you'll notice that most attack leading to clear chances/goals started from his position I e the right side of defence. There was a game against Getafe that we won 2:1 but mehn, Roberto was so dire that Valverde had to bring in Semedo and push him further up the pitch.

If Xavi is serious about this project, he should better get a serious/competent right back or play Araujo or Kounde in high pressure games or we'll be humiliated yet again.

Let's not forget that he's been prone to injuries too recently.

This may sound like I'm hating on him because he looks quite likeable but I've seen enough of SR to suggest that he absolutely stole a living playing as a first team player for Barcelona. The good news is that he'll be a free agent by summer and will leave for good.

the nigga should work on his shooting, he easily get's into dangerous positions to score; that's elite level positioning
