drDoom3:Lol... relax. "Fairly Decent" is me being lenient. Indeed he wasn't much involved today. Heavy in the dribble and not up to the pace in several phases of the game. Nothing spectacular today but just fair. Still has a lot of adapting to do. But truth is has he scored, the focus will shift to his goalscoring knack and not to his overall showing today. Lol And ofcos, Go to twitter and see Nigerians romancing Aribo's touches and ignoring all other aspects. Me, I choose leniency today. ![]()

Patrick Vieira is doing it again vs Pep!!! Since Vieira took the Palace job, he has: - Beaten Pep's Man City 2-0 at the Etihad, last season. - Drawn 0-0 with Pep's Man City at Selhurst Park - And now again, he's flogging Pep and City, 2-0 already with less than 30 played so far. Na wa. Patrick Vieira knows how to play Pep. ![]()

I know every game come with its own story and sometimes cannot be used to gauge another's strength but Arsenal beating this Vieira Palace team in Matchday 1 was definitely a clear sign of how far they can go this season especially after the brilliant "mercato" they had bringing in Gabby J and Zinchenko into areas of the team where they suffered the lowest percentages of dominance on the pitch in 21/22 EPL season. Arsenal is definitely gonna finish in the top 4. But the real question is... "Can they win the EPL title this season?" In truth, they look like true contenders but time will tell. But one thing I don't need time to show me later is that Top 4 is surely Arsenal's this season. |

Faustino Anjorin has taken off! Scores 2 First Half goals. A brace so far as Huddersfield leads 2-1 vs West Bromwich Albion at Halftime. Semi Ajayi made an error that led to one of the Anjorin goals. Uncharacteristic of him judging from last season's form. So far in 6 games this season, he has conceeded a penalty and made 1 error leading to a goal.

Kevin De Bruyne having a measly 59% passing accuracy in the First half vs Palace just tells you how bad Man City is faring in that game. Highly Uncharacteristic of KDB. 59%?? |
