Falana didn’t fault the levy , it’s only argument is that local government should be the one collecting the fees because parking fee levies falls under the exclusive list .
It happens in developed countries. But Lagos State should make it very cheap . But I support it Nigerians are too indiscipline they can take advantage of anything. They poo and pee anywhere, throw dirts on the road , park anywhere even it inconveniences people . Until they start issuing them tickets they’ll never coordinate.

Looks more academic than actual relief benefit. If you pursue this his argument, the LGs will just claim to outsource the fee collection to Lagos State Parks and Gardens as revenue collection consultant. .Lobatan.

It is not all powers or rights that are constitutionally granted to a body that the body can delegate or outsource. So it may not be enough for the LGs to say they have outsourced the right to collect levies. Particularly when the Lagos State House of Assembly had been misguided in making the law backing such collections.

Na you get sense pass, some people that lacks reasoning will not see that the Local Govt are controlled by the State Govt as against the same constitutional provision, hence, the creation of additional CDA acting as buffers with chairmen in councils. If the state government directs the LG to say to the court that they passed the responsibility to the agency, the argument will be squashed and the charges sustained. The government themselves have groups of experienced lawyers who advise them on every matter, that's why it is difficult for any individual to win a case against the government. Falana can only argue if aside the Lagos State govt collecting such levy, the LG as well comes around to bill them for same levy. I do think also that, it is fair and more transparent for thr state to do this than for the LG, it will be more transparent. The 1999 constitution we all know is flawed, if Lagos state had stick to its laws, the IGR of Lagos would have not grown from 6billion it was in 1999 to 45 billion.

You have a point in which you said other country collects fee for parking and I am aware of these things too but where I have an argument is how do you know the money is going to tinubu directly... Do you have a prove for these because if you don't then it's just another conspiracy theory spread by nigerians... We tend to fill in the gap with what we have no prove for and call it fact... I can also tell you it's raining in the uk or new jersey as we speak and you will believe without me even having to prove it to you... It's just doesn't make sense... These are all conspiracy theory unless you have a prove to that then it becomes a fact...
