I was recently looking for information for my new project, a tip calculating service. A good friend of mine helped me out by telling me about the attitude toward tips in Denmark.

I asked him what the normal rules for tipping in Denmark were. He told me that they just don't tip in Denmark.

All places have prices that include all applicable taxes and enough profit to pay all the staff full wages.

Nevertheless, all countries have cafes where tipping is considered the norm. Even in Denmark, some tourist places are happy to accept tips. This made me happy, because my new project is all about calculating tips correctly. Here, take a look for yourself https://tip-calculator.org/, maybe you can use it too.

And speaking of life in Denmark, I think it's a good indicator, too. After all, the standard of living in the country is good enough that service personnel do not need tips.
