These PDP people disguising as ASUU have really rubbished education in Nigeria. Just to score some political goals. The teeming youths and students should ask ASUU who are they really fighting for? I have never heard any strike based on student welfare since I was born, it has always been salary, salary and more salary. Bunch of selfish and heartless people.

I am blaming the two sides , they should negotiate rather than playing politics with education .
Also the request of ASUU is much, where do they want federal government to get 1.1trillion naira.

Educational sector is very important, but we have other sectors too.
The two of them should consider the innocent students.

where did FG get money to construct railway to niger republic?

Where did FG get money to purchase cars for niger republic? So stop asking irrelevant question.

ASUU should be proscribed at once. They cannot hold the nation to ransom. Atiku and Datti both operate private universities so they love ASUU strike. Only Tinubu/Shettima can end ASUU strike.

I love it.

So that students will have time to campaign for APC and continuity.

Cutting the head to spite the ears?

Time waits for nobody.

I hear you.

Yet they could give terrorists 400Billion.
A thief singlehandedly stole 170Billion.
APC spent over 500Billions in the Convention and Primaries.
Buhari gave Afghanistan $1million humanitarian aid.
Buhari again through FG bought vehicles worth 1.4Billion for Niger Govt officials.

Let's stop there.
Do the calculation.

Abeg, talk another thing.

I wonder how this evil govt keep being defended in a time like this! It's strange!
Don’t mind him, also add “where is all the abacha loot and Paris refund”

I totally support ASUU. These LAZY Nigerian Youths need to come out and peacefully demonstrate!
They think a beautiful and prosperous country comes on a platter of gold?
Some of us fought the evil man called Abacha for years while in university to enjoy this democracy that these youths lazily enjoy today.
If the youths cannot fight for their future, maybe they also deserve the rot. We in our 40s and 50s have tried. It’s time for the current youths to also take the bull by the horn! Instead of most of them engaging in touting, betting, 419, prostitution and begging for stipends.

What did you fight?

There were no protests during Abacha's time.

Your type of brain - a malfunctioned brain, or should I say a brain not capable of processing thought properly is one of the major problems of Nigeria. Read again what your dead brain cells could come up with.

With this kind of brain, there's no way Nigeria can experience progress. Sad.

People don’t read, have most of you even gone through ASUU’s request?
they have slowly started convincing them that ASUU is the problem.

Sad for Nigerian students really, the thieves in power should negotiate, you can gradually pay for those improvements, no one is asking for all the sum and the government should find a way to ensure that university are a little independent as well so as to fund themselves but you need a stable economy to be able to do that.
Nigeria just needed change and jumped into fire, a party that is not ready and quickly hijacked the people because of their quest for change.

May God help us
Bless you.

I am also shocked at how people are suddenly blaming ASUU. I also surprised that they have managed to convince them that ASUU is fighting for a certain 1.1 trillion naira. Let them continue. The day ASUU hands off and the FG increases the school fees of these universities is the day they'll come to realise ASUU's fight.

I keep saying it, what ever Tinubu think will make Nigeria better, if he said he can make Nigeria work, let him tell Buhari so he can start it.
When or if it works we can consider him for local government chairman.

Show ASUU demands maybe unreasonable and unrealistic.
Government has met other conditions of ASUU.The main issues in contention now is the payment system and salaries for work not done.
At about February there was University strike in UK too but every lecturer that took part signed an undertaking not go get paid while on strike but ASUU member want go eat their cake and still have it...they should take the forfeiture of salary as the price to pay for saving the educational sector. They got paid for not working for 9 months because of strike in 2020....now its 6 months in 2022 . If ASUU insist on getting paid for those months they didn't work they are not serious and should be take to court. Enough of ASUU impunity.

THE BLAME IS STILL THE GOVERNMENT'S but ASUU too should be responsible and REJECT pay for work not done
Which other demands of ASUU has the FG met?

the government sees that borrowing to construct rail to Niger is more important than borrowing to pay lectures and no one can make them think otherwise Chris Ngige was clear on this, that government can't borrow to pay lectures.

It was only reasonable they took what ever was offered to them and open negotiation with a government that values education. In the end they all smile home and the students? Must lost a semester or two, owing rents, been rushed by the lectures to round up a semester work in two weeks.

Btw can someone explain to me how revitalisation funds would benefit students?

State ASUU was on strike for more than six months and Doctors were on 13 months strike when Obi was Anambra governor. Tinubu had no such terrible records in Lagos.

ASUU should be ban asap, they're all fighting for their selfish interest. What the hell that we're fighting for public universities, the funds being disbursed by FG till date, who are the people looting? Is the govt or them. Despite the funds allocated to PU for building maintenance, they end up looting and u expect the govt to give another funds.
