Yes, I like my soup liqiudy. By the way, that's why it's called soup, not porridge.

My throat is made of flesh not iron, so I wonder how you want me to swallow strong eba with dry soup. I'll still add water again self. tongue

Yes they still do.

From 200 in your area? Mehn... Thats too much. If they try that here, their ugu go rotten. Hm.
Well they're already doing it. Some people complained about it, their excuse was rain didn't fall enough that's why the price is like that. It's the same with Achi and Bitterleave.

The price of food stuff is steadily on the rise.

Pics one ingredients.
The mixed spices is just a combo of uziza seeds, opei and crayfish.

Pics 2
Seasoned the meat for some mins with the spices. Then added the Pomo with enough water to cook very well.

I mashed the egusi with some onions to form a dough. I then cut the dough and put inside the boiling stock, add palm oil and covered to cook.

Pic 3
When the soup was done, I added the vegetable, stired for few secs and brought it down.

Served with eba.

so many of una no fit cook, what is this?

Say what? 20 Naira Utazi? shocked I tell you the cheapest amount you'll get Utazi, Okazi and Uziza leaf here is 100 Naira. The demand for it is very high because the people who use it for different type of peppersoup, Nkwobi, Ishiewu etc for their bar and restaurant is steadily on the rise here.

Hospitality sector is booming. Lol.

Hmm... Let me believe its the high demand for it that makes it expensive in your area.
Down here, it isn't so because it's the west and most people who use it here use it for personal purpose.

Another thing is, having good bargaining power and knowing those things you can actually price down like perishable items you know they can't keep for long, they'll be willing to sell as you want just to get it off their tables before it goes bad. So I take advantage of this anytime I go to the market and it works all the time. wink.
