Rice reapers are used in harvesting rice paddies on the field, other grains such as wheat, maize, millet etc can also be harvested with this farm equipment. It can as well be used to harvest fresh grass for making silage.

Reapers can be attached to a tractor or power tiller, also known as two wheel tractor. All thanks to the Chinese equipment manufacturers who have made this farm equipment available for small scale farmers. Before now, it used to be the combined harvester, which an average farmer could not afford, but now a days, an average famer can afford to get reaper to get the job done.

I currently don't have data of rice farmers using this farm equipment in Benue, but some farmers do have it. Nassarawa, Niger and Abuja do have farmers using this equipment. I learnt a farmer rents out his own for other farmers to make money along Luvu Madaki village in Abuja-Nassarawa axis. The equipment is highly effective in the total harvesting of rice fields.

The price of a rice reaper with a power tiller ranges from around 600,000 to a million plus, no thanks to the way & manner our useless currency is depreciating on daily basis.

1M Naira is small money to invest in agriculture if;

You don't have land
You don't have structures
You don't have equipments
You are not doing it yourself

Unless you want to borrow money to an existing farmer to pay back with interest.

I ignored you so as not to spoil your hustle but instead of you to take a hint and shut your trap you refused.

You have been ranting and raving and exposing yourself further and giving credence to the fact that you really have no solid standing in the field of agriculture.

All the pics you have posted so far none of it was taken in an agricultural setting to show as proof that you are an experienced farmer; all the pics were taken in or around a cold storage facility.

This is further evidence that you are most likely just an AC technician who also works part time as a farmhand but is here parading himself as a thoroughbred farmer.

MrSuama you are nothing but an armchair farmer so you are not qualified to give investment advise as it relates to farming.

This is the reason why you have been churning out spurious figures and assumptions that are not realistic and that will only lead an investor who relies on it to disaster.

I challenge you to show me hard evidence that you actually own a significant farm land and that you have actually ever made a serious investment of funds in farming.

Stop trying to bamboozle people with things you likely heard from your bosses, show me evidence that you ever put you own money into farming!

I just can't stop laughing

Ideally, from your first mention of my moniker, I no suppose reply you because you couldn't differentiate between a "reaper and a tractor" I said a reaper cost about a million but you misquoted me to have called a tractor a million to drive your point. But as a teacher, it's my duty to guide and correct you,

Its obvious you could not just come to terms with my business proposal prowess

1. At first, you claimed you were all out to save people from an alleged fraudster, but you have now changed the tone to" You ignored me because you don't want to spoil my hustle.
I. I challenge you to swear to God that you would have ignored me had you found any evidence against me.
ii. Have you given up your duty as the financial saviour?
iii. Why the change of heart towards my hustle? since you claimed my facts and figures were unrealistic without any verifiable reason.

2. How you arrived at this your unjustifiable conclusion is best known to you.

3. You could as well tell the world that those pics ain't real but photoshopped or use your supposed intellectual dexterity to prove that those pictures were not taken in Kano or Taraba. Abi everyone that snaps a picture close to a cold storage automatically becomes an HVAC engineer? Come to think of it, how many minutes would it take me to locate a rice farm in Kano or Nasarawa where I am presently and claim it's mine. But "What shall it profit MrSuama to lie In order to drive his point"
If na my farm pics you want, inshaAllah you would get it soon.
Mind you, you have seriously deviated from the bone of contention, which are the feasibility of my almost flawless business proposal and you alleging I am a fraudster.

4. Point of correction, I am a HVAC technician not AC technician abi you see AC for the pics? Baba you are not just a self acclaimed experienced businessman, you get experience for misquoting die.
Yes, I did say I farmed in the year 2020. The same farm my mother has since continued farming till date but i can't remember calling myself a "thorough bred farmer" the facts are there you can go and verify. I also agree to been a part time farmer just like almost every civil servant in Bauchi? A journey of a thousand miles begins with a step.
Please kindly quote where I called myself, "a thorough bred farmer".

5. SavageResponse, I am a pencil in the hand of my creator, I am a work in progress, I am a man well brought up who has been taught the importance of respecting others opinion, i am a man whom Allah in his infinite mercy has blessed with wisdom, knowledge and understanding who needs not resorting to insults to drive his point, I am a man who believes in hard work. If you have any problem with who I am, fight God the bestower of mercy not me the recipient.
Man weh God raise, man no fit fall am.
Who are you?

6. You keep claiming my figures are unrealistic but you have neither giving realistic nor verifiable figures to counter my claim. Na person weh no fit differentiate between" rice reaper and tractor" na im deh talk say another man figure is unrealistic.

7. i. Mr challenger, i don't own a farmland, I use a farm leased by the Abubakar Tafawa Balewa University Bauchi. You don't need to own a farm land to farm in the North, lands are easily leased out.
Just like I said the bone of contention isn't about being a thorough bred farmer or owning a farm but as usual, you love deviating from the matters at hand.

ii. I also challenge you to answer all my previous questions on tractor.

8. Like what evidence if I may ask?
So now, I must have heard what am saying from my bosses. The figures are no more cooked up figures, they are now hearsays.
Kai, wetin person no go see for nairaland.

I did mention my facts to be from my conversation with a rice reaper operator. Like Peter Obi would say, go and verify.

How on earth would you be able to come to terms with an alleged fraudster.

When you come to terms with the fact that a reaper is not a tractor, you would find peace my friend.

To you, calling someone a fraudster is normal but to me it ain't. Ideally as a supposed holder of Masters in law, such shouldn't come from you but the reverse is the case.

I wonder what you derive from calling people "thief and fraudster" without verifiable evidence.

I am stressing myself because i have a name and reputation to protect.

In saner climes, I could charge for defamation and I am sure your Oxford trained brother with a world recognised Masters of Law wouldn't dare do such. May God's favour continue to be with him, inshaAllah the Hague is his destination.

I can also vouch for graduates of law from University of Ilorin, "they are better by far"

I can also vouch for Professor Ishaq Oloyede to not being a thief till proven otherwise by a reputable court of law. The jamb registrar is also "better by far" to his contemporaries.

You both also claimed to know I was neither as Muslim nor as versed in the Noble Quran as Dangote, Rabiu, Tinubu and Buhari who take/took interest accruing loans at will. The basis of your assertion is still unknown to me. Nonetheless my questions goes thus

1. Are Dangote, Rabiu, Tinubu and Buhari more Muslim than Prophet Muhammad S.A.W who never took an interest accruing loan?

2. Are Dangote, Rabiu, Tinubu and Buhari more versed in the Quran than Prophet Muhammad S.A.W whom it was revealed to, that warrants them taking loans at will as against Islamic ruling?

I have about 35 Hectares of rice in Benue. Any thresher that can do rice and soyabeans is gonna be a huge kill.
The number of farmland doing rice and soyabeans is much.

Yeah, that's also true. That's why I mentioned tractor, ripper and thresher. Though, I have come to know one can hardly get a good tractor at 1million but the Rice ripper and thresher are in that range.
@speed99 how do you harvest your rice?
1.Is it by manual labour or mechanical?
2. How much does it cost to cut 1 hectare of rice?
3. Is the rice ripper in presently used in benue?
4. How many days does it take you to harvest the 35 hectares?
5. How much is a combine (rice/soybean) tresher?

MrSuama:
You can as well make your research.
Last year, we were begging reaper operators to come work for us but they couldn't because of the work load.
A reaper can spend two weeks in a rice farmers village settlement moving from one farm to another.

Yesterday, I was working in a farm village in Ibadan. They produced mainly cassava. But my co-worker showed me a car bought by his neighbour. He said it took his neighbour just two months of RICE SUPPLY to buy the car.

The farmers are mainly peasant. But there are acres of virgin land available for lease (30k annually) or sale.
Foods are very cheap there. There is a big prospect for the RICE BIZ that you talked about. And cassava for mechanized farming.

There are processing factory that needs agro commodity.

For instance, fresh cassava can be supplied to starch making factory.
Also, dry maize can also be supplied to feedmill.

This is very easy to do. You only need to understudy someone who is in the business.

Pls, don't give your money to anybody to invest for you!

My recent venture into cassava farming has opened my eyes in the huge demand in cassava. It is really needed badly.

Thanks for shedding more light bro. We are still far behind when it comes to mechanized farming and it's unfortunate how some people think because they have failed in a venture, everybody must fail. Every business has it's ups and downs and your ability to remain afloat is what stands you out.

Someone called me today, we booked an appointment at an agricultural machinery showroom in Bauchi where he saw a fairly used reaper. Surprisingly, he happened to be a former student of mine. What a small world.
I just kept on imagining how stupid I would have looked, had I stooped so low to denigrate people who opposed my ideas.
They also got to meet the operator. I no charge them one naira.

I edited most of my posts because of security reasons, I don't know how far it had gone or how far it would still go. For those who have read it, they would have learnt one thing or the other and for those who didn't, never mind, it ain't serious.
I also removed my number because I don't want calls anymore, I just want to manage my peace.
