Structure is key to winning elections. I have heard many Obidients debating over this, but there's no two ways about it, you need concrete structure to win election in Nigeria. Maybe you don't understand what we mean by structure, let me break it down for you. If you have governors, senators and members of the federal house of reps contesting under your platform, you've got a structure. Even so, a party that has this structure in government before now has an edge. This is because they must have had a hold on their followers and can determine where the votes go. Whether we like it or not, PDP and APC have this on ground and may edge LP in that regard. Note that even in the south east, if Peter Obi wins, it means the state governors decided to work against PDP which I don't see them doing so. Working against PDP means ruining their chances. I give you a simple example, in 2015, many PDP parliamentarians from the north asked their followers to vote out Goodluck Jonathan. They taught only Jonathan will be affected but they too were voted out and a lot of them did not return to the national assembly. This is what will happen if PDP gubernatorial candidates/parliamentarians from the south east choose to work against PDP.

This is not to say that the region can't produce significant number of votes, I for one believe that this is going to change with an Obi on the ballot, but the fact is that votes from Katsina or Kano often cover that of 3 or 4 states in the east. See, elections aren't won by
mere emotions, ethnic or primordial sentiments, they are won through empirical study, critical analysis and due diligence. If by any chance no significant votes do come from the east, you can see reason why Atiku is so confident of winning. It is because he knows majority of votes comes from his region. Whether you like it or not, regional politics is back and is now steering us in the face.

You guys missed it a long time ago before the primaries. When you say power should return to the south, you allowed Wike and Co to take over the party structure, Obi left. You guys dribbled Wike and now he can't stop crying.

You guys have a problem in your hands. And Obi is a solution and not a problem, I and my household will vote Obi because he is the only one among the candidates that diasects issues affecting Nigeria and Nigerians. This is not time for tribal politics but a time to vote in a competent and visionary leader.

Thank God for Internet, you can access Peter Obi's speeches and comments on national issues almost ten years ago, you will see a man who has constantly preached about cutting cost of governance, investment in education, saving our resources for rainy days, public officers using public funds for good public use and not as their pocket money.


For the above reasons, I will vote for Peter Obi, I will campaign for him using my resources, I will attend his rallies, I am one of his structures. I hope you can research on this and also vote for Peter Obi for a better Nigeria is the best thing that can happen to you and I.

We were Atikulating in 2019 because it was the Northern turn and anyone that was presented by PDP would get our support because we saw the way things got downhill after the effigy in Aso Rock was elected.

But you see this election we will not vote Atiku, you said he is confident in his region giving him more vote so why are PDP members still bothered about the SE?

The south East wants to vote LP, me from the SS will vote LP, why don't The north vote PDP?

Atiku is the shortest route to a PDP Presidency, after one tenure a southeasterner will emerge Nigeria's president.

Dont forget that the east have major stake in PDP.
If he had waited, PDP will have eno choice but to choose him again because he is more marketable and the candidate gets too choose, not the governors
