For those of you who do not know, particularly the migrants from SE, who are jjc in Lagos.

In SE you live behind time. Lagos is different, we live in front of time. The projects currently under construction were initiatives taken 10 or more yrs ago. Lagos has 5yr, 10yr, 15yr, upto 30yr development plans on paper.

There are some plans penciled down by Fashola that have not even started. Ambode completed New Oshodi Transport Hub, but the plan preceeded him. The Lagos rail project was a plan started by Jakande in 1979. The 3rd mainland bridge was a project started by Mobolaji Johnson before Fed Govt of IBB took it over to complete. The talk to build a 4th mainland bridge has been on the table since time of Fashola, Ambode talked about it, Sanwo has talked about it...we don't know which governor would complete it. So we live in the future.

A leader does not stamp his name on projects and say look at me, see what im doing. A leader put his stamp of approval and give go ahead to get it done. He moves on and let others take glory.

Can Obi say this? Hell NO!

Don't pretend not to know that Tinubu ran Lagos without federal allocation for some years becaise Obj seized the allocation......it's this allocation that UMYA released to Fashola and the huge improvement in IGR that Tinubu handed over to him that he used to build on the foundations already laid by Tinubu.

Laying foundation is often overlook. There's nothing in commissioning a project! Whoever dreamt or conceived the project is the one that did over 50% of it. The hardest task is any job is "starting". Once you start, you now have to finish as their is no going back especially when you've burnt the bridges behind you. The only way to go is forward.

I may not support Tinubu wholeheartedly, but don't take away his astute vision and the foundations he laid. He is the Awo, Amadu-Bello and Zik of our time.

Yes and other things. Community outreach, stigma reduction, making HIV testing and medication easily accessible and affordable. Not just prevention but management of HIV/AIDS.

The reason he increased the state revenue is so that his share from the 10% Alpha Beta charge will increase as well.
The guy might have drawn up a master plan for the development of Lagos, which is quite commendable. But with him and his cronies milking the state excessively, as well as being the sole decider of who governs the state,it really amazes me when I see people support his presidential bid.
