He should have just called 911. This was a careless death. Your life is more important than your car
I don't like it when people talk this way.
This is normal reasoning. If you packed your car and you see someone trying to burgle it, your first instinct as human is to first go near them and stop the process. A delay of one second can make them successful.
And he wouldn't even know or think they were armed.
Most car burglars are petty thieves. I'm sure you will try scaring them off with your presence too as the first measure.

He was simply unlucky.
It's terrible and sad

Not trying to be racist but I'm sure the crime was committed by Black Americans. sad

Africans in America should understand that their upbringing is different from some of these Black Americans angry

I blame it on years of slavery and social injustice.
Most crime in Nigeria is committed by BLACK Nigerians. You have bypassed all the kidnappings and bush murders. You have bypassed all the ritual choppings and killings. You have looked over all the Nigerian women killed by their Nigerian husbands. Even the cult assassinations have skipped your mind.

Black Americans can go anywhere in the world with their passport and get immediate respect. Can a Nigerian say the same? They will be seen as a drug mule or internet scammer ready to commit crime. Dubai is not banning any black American while Nigerians are crying at the airport. Why is Nigeria so poor? I blame it on being born and raised as a Nigerian.

Nothing being racist here, I avoid black Americans in US like plague, they are junkies, lazy and rough looking. I’d rather stay in a community with many whites than the one populated by these black Americans.

I think the slavery and social injustice truly messed them up big time, only a few of them have sense.

And I don’t know why many of them are obese

Something like this happened a few times to me, on one occasion, saw a black man searching my car where it was parked, I chased the man down, finally caught him when he became exhausted after chasing him through my apartment complex for almost 10 minutes.

When Columbus police eventually showed up, a detective in plain clothes who happened to be driving past, after going back to the crime scene (where my car was parked) & noticed the distance I had chased the man, was all praises for my fitness, but warned me, never to try it again, just in case the person who I was chasing had a gun on him.
Chased someone for ten minutes , na wa oo

Carjacking gone wrong.
How on earth do you confront potentially armed individuals without being armed?

Like seriously! Wow! How easy it is to sit behind the keyboard to type whatever we feel.

Have you heard of impulsive action?
Okay na, we have now seen the aftermath of impulsive action.

While you give it a big name, I'm bothered about the living, taking a few mins of their time to think before acting.

A certain man was driving to work in Ojota axis, his car got bashed, he left his car, hung on the danfo bus towards Maryland, then comes along another danfo bus that hits him while he is hanging on the first danfo bus, he falls to his death. According to you, it is impulsive action. The other man got into his car and drove off leaving him standing right there, without a car. He was lucky to be alive.

In cases like this, safety of life is paramount than trying to safe guard things that can be replaced with money as long as there is life.

You dey say impulsive action. Impulsive action can only happen when one is alive. We are to control and subdue our actions whether impulsive or not.

I rest my case.

I no argue with you. Did his running after the first danfo bus and hanging on it fix the car? He lost his life in that process. That danfo driver never got apprehended by the law.

In another case, a man on the Lagos IBADAN express got bashed, he came out obstructing traffic, while an argument was on, a trailer on top speed games along and clears his vehicle causing irreparable damage,

things are really BAD in Atlanta. Just let them steal what they want to steal.

Even rich neighborhoods aren’t safe.
