Wintertime:What will be the impact? Your IPOB seccession messiah did not end up in custody even as you lot shouted "touch Kanu and Nigeria burns"? So far it is only the SE burning. So too will your IPOB political Messiah, i.e Obi, be dealt with if he tries to be cute circumventing laws other candidates are complying with and happy to obey. You people are always too lawless and desperate. No one is going to change laws and legality, currently in place, for Obi and his In any case, why can't you Obidient donate? Even Nnewi businessmen alone should be able to dash Obi ten trillion Naira na. Chicken change Obi Cubana alone can donate. Lol. |

the irony is that we are told Tinubu is smeared as a drug dealer/baron. so what do you think would happen if an alleged drug baron started seeking disapora financing? |
| Re: Peter Obi: Much Ado About Funding From Diasporans by Nobody: 4:51am On Sep 05, 2022 |
GloriousGbola:Precisely. You join a car race with a wretched banger. You now asked to be allowed to modify your vehicle illegally to compete knowing fully well you never had the vehicle to win the race in the first place. This is what I have always accused Obi of. I.e a casual readiness to always lie to, deceive and defraud others without shame. Should the coward Obi not have remained in the PDP to fight and win the ticket he said he was well prepared to gain? Typically, Obi and his lawless fanbase now want the law circumvented for their own gains. What a joke. |

BurialGround:Why are you even minding the modafucking idiots who are only doing this because they have met a formidable foe who is bent on stopping their never-ending stealing from the people. But the people are bent on getting them out of the way finally. Even if they stop the foreign donations from fellow Nigerian, will they stop us locally? Absolutely NOT! So let every Nigerian desirous of change from the status quo make a commitment to donate to Obi/Datti campaign - no matter how small. Let the Labour Party publish their Presidential campaign account details. I will kick this off with a personal donation of N10 million. |

GloriousGbola:Didn't Buhari and APC received funds contributed by the diosporans in 2015? Well however it goes the Labour Party is already lucky the have huge support from the youths. Though They still need money to mobilize campaigns but not as APC and PDP needed it. |

Obinoscopy:No law is broken here as long as it's Nigerians living in diaspora who are willing to contribute to Peter obi campaign and not foreigners full stop , anybody can take it anywhere they want even in court it doesn't hold water, let that agbado man go and get funding from Nigerians living abroad if they think Nigerians are willing to donate to their evil agenda, this shouldn't be any news. |

Obinoscopy:How do you know if a $1million remittance is by a Nigerian or a foreigner? Alfred Smith, a non-Nigerian can send $500,000 contribution posing as Bola Alabi. How do you authenticate? |
| Re: Peter Obi: Much Ado About Funding From Diasporans by Obinoscopy(op): 5:52am On Sep 05, 2022 |
ImperialYoruba:That same Alfred Smith can send the money to a proxy (whose real is Bola Alabi) in Nigeria who will then pay into the Political Party’s account, how do you authenticate? Let us not go there. Every political party is supposed to send their financial records for auditing. Anomalies and or laundering can be detected if INEC does their due diligence during auditing. |

author=Dsalvo post=116364415]@OP. This is the thing with you Igbos. Always reactionary and always about what you want alone and specifically when you want it Is it today some of us have been calling for change in the laws to allow diasporan Nigerians have a legal and electoral say in Nigerian politics? I forget you lot were too busy calling Nigeria a "Zoo" and disturbing us with Biafra and IPOB idiocy to care back then when the rest of us were speaking up for the big picture. Today Obi is running you start a stupid thread to discuss how a long standing situation many had complained of, yet you were never interested in, now affects Obi adversely. This is why I call you Igbos a "food is ready" people. You are not interested in agitating for what is best for everyone consistently and always. You will only get involved in any agitation to chase your own myopic and selfish interest at that specific point in time. Those who fought for the best humanity enjoy today, be it democracy or abolition of slavery, are never like you cynical, myopic and opportunist Igbos. If you can, show me even one great initiative/fight for democracy, peaceful union, progressive ideal or nationally benevolent initiative Igbos have ever championed. You lot have nothing to offer per inspired, benevolent, selfless and visionary leadership of a diverse society and people. It is just not in your nature and Nigerians know this. I expect that to reflect, beyond the social media noise, in a thoroughly disappointing showing for Obi at the polls. Bookmark this thread.[/quote]your hate for igbos will only consume you. You speak like you are the all knowing God. Who goes out to agitate for something that is not in his field of interest. Let the igbos be, nobody is begging you to love them or care about them. Keep your opinion to yourself. Obi wins or not life goes on. |

Obinoscopy:It is not illegal to vote by proxy, but it is illegal to vote by mail or absentee ballot. It is not illegal to contribute by proxy, but illegal for foreign contribution. The law is clear, so why the need to expand it to accomodate? Use a workaround if you have one. |

missionmex:ZERO! All marches and activism for national progress and society benefit always originate with Yorubas before it spreads North, but Ibo never join in. Even student activism is always championed by West and North. When it touches them they blackmail others for ignoring their plights. |
