A president should never broadly condemn large swaths of his own people like that. If you’re going to label people “a threat to democracy” ( a very serious accusation) you need to be as specific as possible. Mention names, so we know exactly who we are dealing with and what punishment they need to receive. Because anyone who is a threat to democracy should basically be killed. That’s the punishment for treason. So you shouldn’t play politics with such things.

And guess what, the funny thing is that at the end of the day Americans have a right to question elections. It’s protected by free speech. So this idea that CNN and other networks are putting in your head that elections are sacrosanct and must never be questioned is a lie.

There is no law that says anybody must accept or concede an election. You are free to question and challenge elections.
