The Igbos cannot be a serious Political Power Bloc without their immediate south south Neigbhours

It was Ordained that way by God Almighty

Just look at their Geography

Their south south Neigbhours have a near Stranglehold over their Territory ,

Igboland can hardly do anything without their support

The Prayer that the south south People Prayed to God must have been very mighty indeed because

God Gave them almost all the Jokers cards for Nationhood

Sea Ports, Agricultural Land, Mineral Resources

The only serious Political joker Card the Igbos have is Industrous Population but it is not enough

When Gen Alabi Isama wrote in his book "Tragedy of Victory" that Igboland stands on 2 legs , Calabar and Port Harcourt and Ojukwu lost the War because he failed to take Igbolands legs Seriously Gen Isama definitely understood what he meant
Alabi Isama is crazy

Error!!

Igweocha was an already established City.

Lugard only name it Port Harcourt to honour Lewis harcourt after his visit

There was no city in 1912 called Igweocha.

If you think there was, name the kings/leaders of this city, it's main festivals or Traditional ceremonies and populae areas/streets that are significant in it's History.

Igbo migrants to the ports started calling it Igweocha in the 1930s

Thank you!

Same way they started calling the North Igweawusa or uguawusa but why they don’t want to claim Sokoto, Kano, Kafanchan, Kaura nomada etc as part of their territories is what I don’t understand.

The Eastern Region was an administrative region in Nigeria, dating back originally from the division of the colony Southern Nigeria in 1954.

The gap between the eastern region and other parts of Nigeria was too much. It led to resentment and envy

Look at these facts.

1. Between 1954 and 1964, Eastern Nigeria was described as the fastest growing economy in the world by Harvard reviews. Faster than China, Singapore and the "Asian Tigers".

2. The Eastern govt was the only government in the world that invested 45% of its revenues in Education.

3. The Eastern Region had the biggest Electricity Supply. Best Hospitals And The Igbos made up 60% Of Nigerian Civil Service

4. The Eastern Region of Nigeria had the highest Number of Registered Cars in Nigeria as at 1963 by a large margin.

5. The Number of Registered businesses in Nigeria as at 1963 was as follows.

East~ 68,220
West ~ 5776
North~ 2407.

6. All the progress the Eastern Nigeria made was destroyed during the Civil War and we're still recovering from it.

Was Micheal Opara not a Nigerian?
Did Micheal Opara build Portharcourt with his money?
Did Micheal Opara build our PH homes?
Did Micheal Opara cultivate the lands?
Did micheal Opara navigate the seas?

We all collectively built our country through commerce and infrastructure, while different leaders managed that wealth in various ways..

Nigerians built Nigeria, not one man, one ethnic group nor one region.
Lies. Igbos built Port Harcourt, Lagos and most parts of Abuja. Envy and Jealousy will not allow you to accept the truth.

Cause all those places belongs to Okrika people and Okrika people are not igbos

Those town and villages you mentioned to be okirika still belong to the igbo speaking okirika indigenes

I have no opinion either or. This is clearly writing Tinubu supporters to cause illwill. Tinubu is truly despicable and a drugs addict . Tinubu supporters want southsouth and southeast to start fighting over something as pointless as this .. Tinubu has no strategy other than getting jobless youths to pretend to be Ibo and make stupid threads hoping to cause fights. Here in rivers state Tinubu has paid plenty youths to go around telling the indigenes that Peter Obi will divide Nigeria if elected

You people are shameless and have no clue

How? Explain to us in layman term language! There's almost nothing like Igbos in Okrika even if they exists, they are not up to 2% so tell us how 2% people own all those lands? Don't behave like a mkpulummiri addict you hear? And btw, any Okrikan who tells you that he or she speaks Igbos are not originally Okrikans they are foreigners, Okrikans don't speak Igbo.

No

Lord Lugard founded Port Harcourt at an Ikwere and Ijaw Settlement previously called Rebisi

The Only Town that Igbos built without British Help prior to Colonisation was Onitsha and many agree that it was Benin that had a lot to do with it because it was a River Port of Benin Kingdom

Hehehehehe grin grin grin

This dude would sooner take a bullet than sit by and allow Ndigbo be credited for anything worthwhile! grin
