The money spent on the salaries paying workers in non-functional refineries would go along way to address the financial side of ASUU's demands. Or probably in your misguided 1d10cy, you think it is OK to spend billions of naira on non-functional refineries than it is to fund education...

The students complaining ASUU is fighting for their pockets alone are all funny. This same set of people will be moaning about the infrastructural deficit of the Nigerian university. They will complain about harsh lecturing conditions, they will complain that they can't compete with counter parts abroad, they will complain about the whole system. Yet they are so dumb to even cross examine the demands of ASUU to understand if in the long run it's to their favour.


How can you justify myriads of graduates who are chunned out and can't even express themselves in interview confidently. One was asked his next if kin and she mentioned her dean of her faculty in school then who isn't related to her by blood even extended wise sef but graduated with a 2:1 in political science.


My opinion: It is apparent that Nigerians love suffering. I don't blame politicians who milk the nations wealth to their advantage, dispense injustice to the people and even create harsh conditions for people to thrive. I can never join any protest or lead one because those you are fighting for will turn their back against you soonest. For me it's all man to himself.

1. A very high percentage among you are paedophiles, rapists and sex offenders.
2. Most of you criminally plagiarise foreign textbooks into new books or handouts shamelessly and make it mandatory for students to buy them and when they don’t, you either fail or downgrade them.
3. Most of you lecture simultaneously in multiple universities (full time) and I state this because I know. How can anyone lecture full time in two/three universities, spread across far-apart geographical locations simultaneously? That is one of the main reasons why you shamelessly keep insisting on your UTAS.
4. Many of you cannot use a computer properly and mostly not retrainable in terms of new skill sets.

Huge shame on you. Who the hell do you think you are? I spent 7 years in University instead of 4 (without failing any course) just because of your megalomania, satan-gifted ego and greed. It was a yearly ritual of strikes with one stretching to 8 months. And to imagine that I was foolish then to think ASUU was fighting for us the students, in the days when it (ASUU) still had decent goodwill!!!

I used to be very vociferous in support of ASUU (check my historic posts here dating back many years) but today, I am one of the majority of Nigerians that now see you as enemies of the Nigerian university system. Conclusively,if your father was a lecturer I think your sentiment would be different.How do u explain a leadership that says there is no money but the largesse the former accountant general stole is three times enough to end this brouhaha,the money Buhari appropriated to procure SUV for Niger republic and another billions again for the Fulani ranching in Katsina.

If I were to proffer a solution, it’d be that the FG & State Governments Sack your corrupt souls and anyone of you that wants a job should go and reply in a different university than the ones they were sacked from. The recruitment process should then commence with a CBT (which everyone knows will catch at least 60% of your arrogant goons out).

Next, they should move you to Aptitude Test and that will catch out another 10% of you.

Finally, they should place you all in research-based environments and ask you to demonstrate modern research techniques. That should fail another 15% of you.

In total, only 15% of you archaic fossils will scale through.
