She forgets the queen was just a ceremonial head and didn't have much political duties or influence as such. Unlike the prime minister.

Na lie she ain’t just a ceremonial head . That’s what we’re all led to believe in order for the royal family to be exonerated in case the prime minister makes a bad and disgraceful political move.

Every prime minister exercises power on behalf of the Windsors take it or drop it .

I pity your type

point to anything she said that was wrong?...pls just point to one

You guyz don't know your history . If you do you will know there is nothing celebrating the British monarchy or mourning for their loss as a black and African

Just keep on being politically correct and if only you know the atrocity the monarchy did to your people and generation

She will regret the day she made true comments right?...because all she said there is all correct

She goofed big time and can't win in this war....

That was some very nasty and hate-filled message to tweet out...

Why are some Africans very stewpid, that the Queen supported genocide against children of Biafra is in the history books. She never for once called for a peaceful resolution of the conflict.

We are not ignorant of the slavery, oppression and thievery of the British colonialist headed by Her Majesty.

However, we also cannot deny it open the door of civilization to us.

Being vile and hateful will not bring healing to the past. We cannot continue to live in the past
Don't fall for the trap that Nigerian colonies weren't civilized before the British came to colonize us. They painted us as savages and you're falling for the narrative. Didn't we build our own homes, make our own clothing, and understand herbal health care?

What about the walls of Benin which were said to rival even the great walls of China? Why didn't they colonize China?

Britain's role in the Biafran war is not hidden.. If you search for am you go see am.

When you won't do your own independent research, but regurgitate what you were told by people who were barely aware of what happened, why won't you come online to spew rehashed conjecture ad-nauseam?

The Queen is merely ceremonial and has no executive powers.

So if you want to blame the British for supporting the Nigerian side during the civil war, please blame the then Prime Minister Harold Wilson, not the Queen.

Moreover, if the British can be accused of being on the side of the Nigerian government, then we should also bring to light the backing of the French and Israeli that Biafra had.

So say something else.

Get your facts right.

I dont know the lady but she is 100% right. May the Queen never rest in peace. I pray God put the queen in the most painful and deepest part of hell. The queen and her family damaged the lives of millions especially black Africans. They took over our lands stole our resources and installed puppets to control african future.
Yes,they did. But should we erase the fact that inter-kingdom wars were already in Africa before the British came? The world has always been a survival mode area before the people came together to abolish it. The same Britain suffered from the Romans. Israelites suffered from Egyptians. The Oyo Empire would also wage war to expand her glory. There were slave traders already in Africa. We only say this because we were the last in line to feel the heat of it before the emergence of civilization.

Yes they Britain don't really care about Nigeria. They watched the Nigerian army starved, raped, killed and commit all sort of war crime to the south eastern part of Nigeria, because the army was finding it difficult to disband a seperatist army called Biafra.
The Biafran army was wrong for claiming a part of a country belongs to them, without due negotiation.
But the Nigerian army was more evil for afflicting it's south eastern citizens on the way to destroy this separatist army.

To me, The Nigeria army can never win the civil war, if they had engaged the Biafran normally.

But all Britain could do is go into the war and take pictures without admitting that the Nigerian army are commiting war crime
