If I'm applying for studying visa in Australia, is it possible for my spouse and children to leave for Australia at the same time? Or will they come to join me later after some time?

In my own opinion, the guy was turned back to Nigeria from Doha for another reason which you have not been told yet.

It is not a MUST to travel 90days before resumption date.

Hello Family,

I have a question please.

I just passed my GTE assessment this morning from Torrens and I was asked to make my tuition payment.
Now the issue is that my course semester session (T3) starts next week and I can’t possibly meet up.
I’m thinking of deferring to next month with is another semester session (T4).

Would I be asked to submit another round of documents for the deferral. Am I going to go through another round of hassle even if I’ve made payment for tuition

Please I need every possible answer from anyone that has any idea about it or gone through the same process.

I deferred till Feb 2022. I want to travel 2nd week of November.

thanks my brother. Somebody said It will be hard for me to apply for student visa if they refused my spouse visa but I doubt this. Deep down in me I will prefer the dependent visa /spouse visa because I don't want to be indebted to the girls family with the tuition fee and all that even though they are nice . Am just scared of making the wrong decision between spouse and the school. I have been a man and I know what I have gone through to get to this stage. If you are in my shoes, what Will you go for?

Australia Announces New Post-Study Work Extension For International Students


Australia has just announced that it will be extending post-study work rights for international students who graduate with degrees linked to workforce shortages. This is great news for students, as it will give them more time to find a job in the Australian economy and make use of the skills they have acquired while studying.

My spouse is a PhD student in Melbourne (on fully funded scholarship). We could not go together because we were not able to pay for family OSHC .
Note :We are a family of three (husband, wife and a two year old daughter)
My question is this:
1. Can we pay our OSHC from the savings she has gotten in Australia without we being required to show an Australian prove of fund.
2. Or if it's possible to show a prove of fund from our joint account in Nigeria as the money we have presently in Australia can only pay our OSHC.

I was a fully funded PhD candidate at the time I invited my family a few years ago. From memory, the primary proof of funds she has to show from Australia is her PhD scholarship.
