blackpanda:Don't mind people always blaming government for everything and not being objective. If every worker in Nigeria demands for 100% increase in salary how will we be able to keep the country afloat. Are lecturers the only workers that's underpaid in Nigeria? The average doctor, banker, civil servant, driver etc are all underpaid in Nigeria compared to other countries of the world, if we all decide to go on strike over pay then nobody will work again. Forget the narrative that ASUU is fighting for the students cos it's a lie. I've looked through their demands and it's all about their selfish interests. 1 Like |

Oluwaseunomo:.. Then u should not defend what u dont understand or know. Go and make research.. Govt did not fulfil thire own of agreement since GEL administration they only pay 40% of that money.. And buhari came on board. Still did not wan to pay their money with all the bonus the govt accepted to pay... That why as each month passes the debt and bonus keep accumulating.. Govt is at fault here.... If they hv been paying thire money bit by bit as they agreed,, they figure couldn't amount to that amount.. So stop defending evil govt |

Azeemokoya: Imagine the rubbish the so called puppet Minister is saying, ' According to the Minister, the Constitution of Nigeria (as amended) recognises and protects citizens’ right to public protests but does not empower any Nigerian to “inflict pain and inconvenience on other people.” But their own personal constitution empower them as Nigerians to “inflict pain and inconvenience on the innocent students with poor funding of the education sector while their own kids couldn't stay here to study here'. Most of these people in government needs to be checked truly |

AntiChristian: Are u even thinking at all? Do u know the so much pain most of these students are going thru with little or no job out there. And u still want them to keep quiet? If that's the only language those looters will hear...the students shud block everywhere. Or else |

Oluwaseunomo:What ASUU is demanding is around 200bn. ASUU chairman has said it already. It's all those APC members/Buhari cabinet that's saying 1trillion and the rest. ASUU is not demanding 1trillion to call off strike. Make Una dey think by Una self. Is like Una mumu never do. |
