I seriously do not know the exact place to post this, but I believe trampling on a worker's right, overusing him and frustrating him are crimes against such a worker. It's a really long story that he'd told me and I made my findings and found out it's all true. Since I do not have the knowledge if there's any kind of organisation existing to fight for the rights of private company workers, I desperately need someone to help me out. This friend of mine is so depressed and frustrated right now and the so called boss finds happiness in treating him this bad. The boss has someone above him who gives him go ahead to maltreat everyone around him, and he's frustrating this amazing youths who are desperately trying to make ends meet and take care of their homes. Please, I really need your help and I believe this is the major reason we have this forum created for Nigerians.

You are unable to mention what happens to your friend. Your inability to do it is because you do not know what is happening to the friend. Yet you wasted a space here just for your senseless rant.

Of course he wanna. But I do believe more people are going into that same shackles if not attended to.. Every youth can't be as advantaged as a lots are, so even if you leave, someone else is still coming in to face it and that's cos the country leaves us with no other options.

Those who can cope should take the job. Those who cannot cope should quit. By the time the employer runs out of employees, he or she will adjust. Suing or reporting the employer is a waste of your time and energy unless your friend signed an agreement when starting the job and the agreement opposes the employer's behaviour.

Of course it opposes it. Why would a grownup adult get frustrated about what he signed up for? Thanks for the advise anyways, it's probably the way the country is built.

If he isn't happy or being maltreated at work he should just quit, no time for long stories and crap.

once you wake up then get ready for work and you feel this inner sadness and sorrow about your place of work then it's time to have a rethink about the whole thing.

What does the signed agreement say and how does the employer go against the agreement?

Yh I can also understanding your friends plight most of these people feel like they are God just cos they know the boss,envy and jealousy is what is causing all of this based on my view.

Your friend might also be getting closer to the boss cos he is good at what he does so this person just want to reduce the attention given to your friend and unknown to the boss the organization is tearing down instead of building cos of the character of this person... people hate working in the company and clients are also leaving as well... tribalism would not allow the boss put the person in order tueeh!!!.

Your friend should keep ignoring the person and keep smiling always,then try to look for another job while still working immediately he sees one he can leave...cos the person is doing all this to make him leave...na all these kind things dey lead to depression.

SOLUTION: tell your "friend" to quit that job... et voila!
