I don't think anyone can influence the visa appointment process,it totally by drawing every Saturdays especially those seeking with work permit.

Hello house,

Please I have some questions regarding the online application for work visa.
1. Did you upload any document while filling the form online? If yes, what documents were requested to be uploaded?
2. Is notarization of certificates required for work visa?
3. Do I need a Police clearance certificate and proof of flight reservation for the online application or can I do them after applying but before the appointment date?

Thanks in advance

If you are planning to apply for work Visa at the Polish embassy in Abuja, please think again and don't waste your money and precious time. I have a PhD from a university abroad and working in a university in Nigeria and got a research position at a renowned institution in Poland but the embassy denied me visa twice with excuse of not justifying the purpose of my intended stay.

How long did it take for them to send you the link to the full online visa application after filling the preliminary visa application? I have completed the preliminary application for over 12 hours now and I'm yet to receive any link for the full visa application. Just want to know if it takes that long.

Happychioma:

I have reapplied shaa, but I'm yet to get a data.
I wish I had this info earlier

The Polish Embassy isn't interested in giving visa but collecting your 80 Euros (twice). This is is the core truth.

I think if we can come together we might be able to gather enough statistics and people to launch a complaint to the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, Polish Ministry, EU Commission, and so on because these people are just denying visas for no valid reason.

I was there on two consecutive days - the first day out of 30 people only 2 were given visas. The two with visas had official diplomatic passports. The next day same scenario. Are they saying out of 50+ people no one was able to pass their requirements? Mind you some of these applicants had multiple Schengen, US, and UK visas. One guy has been traveling from Sierra Leone more than 5 times and getting denials!

Many others have applied for months without an appointment or any information yet if you check other countries like South Africa you will see free slots in abundance. If the polish embassy isn't interested in working they should just close or announce the suspension of consular services so we know where they stand. You email them and the only thing they know how to do is copy-paste the same response over and over.

I saw people on reddit create a spreadsheet for tracking their UK visas. https://docs.google.com/spreadsheets/d/1MB77V6RGzaTFvahSm6hCfiLTUB6B0A6qj2uxu4SdYfw/edit#gid=0).

I believe it's high time we do the same and start collating the necessary data so it will be all very clear for everyone what is happening in that embassy!!

I am already preparing a strong letter for their ministry about this their yeye embassy.

Thanks Chuks.
Don't know why mine is taking forever. Not sure if it has to do with the first name(s) field because I filled my first and middle name there since there is no provision for middle name and they mentioned that the data filled must match the documents submitted and in this case, I have first, middle and last name on my passport hence why I filled it that way.
Do you remember filling only your first name in that field or both first and middle name?

I support you on this,I think the best way to start is by organizing a mini protest,if we can gather like 20 -50 person we go for a protest in front of there embassy that way they will know we are all aware of there tricks.

Try to re-register. If it tells you that you already submitted a form then it's an issue from their end. I have seen cases where they didn't check new applications for like a week. Only after that did they open the thing and started sending links for completing your application.

If you made a mistake just refill it as shown on the permit. Your surname in the surname section and all other names in first name. Besides if what you filed was wrong, you should have already gotten an email your permit was not verified successfully.

Try checking spam too

People going to the embassy 2 times / 5 times, how do you all even get these appointments?

Some of us can't even get an appointment to go there once! So frustrating.

Abeg, epp us.

People go to the embassy for different reasons - applications, legalization, submitting appeal stuff for other etc.

There is nothing stopping you from visiting the embassy to find out how things are on ground. Obviously you won't be allowed inside but you can gather some valuable information and statistics since everything they announce is right there in front of the gate in the presence of all
