Gumi has information on terrorists, terrorists have killed, kidnapped thousands of Nigerians, Gumi is obliged to support the Nigerian army and security operatives to defeat the terrorists enemies,. Gumi must be arrested, if he refuse to give information to the Nigerian army to help them destroy the terrorists, and kill them and their sponsors, then he is working with the enemy.

Why don't they take out the bandits and kidnappers so that Gumi will have nobody to negotiate with. I don't think Gumi is in the least afraid of being arrested.
