He went to prison for real. Unfortunately , our legal system is rubbish; imagine the reason he was let go . It was just due to technicalities of the law ( The yeye judge who sent him to prison had been promoted to a higher court , but he came back to sentence Kalu with both lawyers agreeing . Orji’s lawyer then came back to challenge the jurisdiction of the judge and a higher court agreed the judgement is null and void since the judge should not have been on seat to pronounce the judgement )
