41-year-old suspected killer Shannon Brandt, who admitted to hitting 18-year-old Cayler Ellingson with his car over the teen's conservative views, was RELEASED yesterday on $50k bond. Brandt has been charged with vehicular homicide and leaving the scene of a deadly accident.

Shannon Brandt, who reportedly confessed to killing a North Dakota teen because the 18yo victim was "part of a Republican extremist group," posted bond and is back on the streets.

Since his release, it appears Brandt started scrubbing his social media.

Actually, Jan 6 insurrectionists are in jail serving sentences handed to them by a judge after a jury of their peers had considered the evidence presented by the prosecutor and their defence and decided they are guilty of committing the crime just as might be the case here once the evidence is considered, instead of being on 50k bail as this person currently is.

You don't go to jail on a confession, Ben, as we once clarified here.

Banks require an independent appraisal for real property to approve loans against those properties. If they don’t require them for some reason and take the borrowers own estimate as good enough, then so what’s the big deal if both parties are agreeable...
