Have you ever heard of a man called Mohammed Ali Ndume?

Let me educate you a bit. Ali was in the hat for Senate Presidency in the 8th Senate. Saraki stole the show from him because Ndume obeyed party guidelines. He was in the hat for 9th senate but party chieftains prevailed on him to yield for Lawan.

Ali Ndume is currently the most senior senator in APC. If APC wins Ndume becomes President in Senate. There is nothing party leadership can do to set him aside.

Kalu is a defector, Ohuanbuwa is a defector, Nwaoboshi is a defector. Ndume is an organic APC senator. Maybe appointing him Chief of Staff or a Minister or even Ambassador might placate him, but he is inline for 10th Senate Presidency. Kalu could become majority leader if he plays his game right. Thats about it!

Kalu should not expect Senate Presidency, he will set himself up for loss.

Unfortunately there are larger number of insane Nigerian than sane nigerian and because of their sheer numbers they will seize power for their druggist foolish old and senile agbado and cassava munching gorilla and there is nothing you and I can do about it. Nigeria is not just yet ripe for democracy. It will take us to nowhere. As the youth, We better start thinking of the form of governance that will best work for us as people.

The next Senate President position is already zoned to the SE(Whichever person from the SE thst returns for another term will be in contention). Nothing for Ndume(he is from the NE same as Kashim Shettima) Best case he will get a super committee to head or given an appointment.

If Tinubu wins....I hope the SE will play their games well enough for a Senator from SE under APC to emerge...if the Tsunami of hatred for Bola Tinubu in SE will not cause problems for APC senatorial aspirants from SE...else, LP or PDP wins the seats....that will leave APC no other choice than to marginalise SE in Senate President position... because, it is almost not likely to allow an opposition win Senate Presidency.

SE should try and prepare the region well...If Peter Obi lose the election...and their senators are all LP... because the elections, Presidential and Senatorial, will happen same day...they may not get Senate President.
