Well, from the little I know a FHC erroneously gave a judgement affirming Ntukekpo as State Chair. The Court was misled but a judgement is a judgement..... So the decision this Court stood on was decisions made by the State Chair.

The Chairmanship tussle is on appeal by Ekanem and the judgement is on the 28th. INEC admitted in their written address that Ntukekpo informed them to come monitor the Senatorial Primaries on June 9 but they declined as decisions they stood by were that of Ekanem's.

It happened exactly same in Ebonyi and that case too is before the Supreme Court.

But whether the ntukekpo is recognised by the courts or not, what is obvious is Akpabio did not participate in the primaries monitored by INEC. So why will the court ask INEC to accept result of the primaries it did not monitor

Not even that, the merits of this case was not looked into. It died at preliminary objection because Akpabio was not a Party to the suit. That is what I believe he will challenge if he appeals.

How successful or not it gets, the Court will determine.
