What is your analysis that is worth discussing? Look at this joker.

Who came here to debate with you?

Which economic policies has Buhari achieved to save the naira from free fall?

Shebi you were sleeping when SLS warned him about his cluelessness

Shey it's militants that were responsible for Naira falling from 160 to 500 within 2 years of Buhari? We didn't have militants under Yaradua abi?

It's also China that is responsible for the stagnation of our economy and the reason our foreign reserves have been drained from the relatively healthy state it was under GEJ. It's the reason our economy entered instant recession inside 1 year of Buhari's administration

I don't have time to engage your rubbish. There's nothing you said there that is defensible or a reasonable justification for our naira falling from 160 to 720.

Nobody has time to engage your nonsense. By all metrics and in any sphere (Health, Security, Education, Power, Economy) any sane person can tell APC has spectacularly failed Nigerians. Whether you call it beer parlor or cattle ranch tactics that is your personal problem
Anyone defending Buhari style of leadership is either a devil or very stupid..

I don't think Amoto is wholeheartedly defending buhari administration ..He is too intelligent too be that foolish ...my view of his incessant "copied posts" is just to show us how politicians take us 4 a ride......

imagine believing a written word from a Nigerian politician .....

Bro, this is my take on ASUU strike.

we'll know ASUU is demanding money (1.1trn)

The FG have to agree on a concrete agreement that any government to rule will pay a certain amount of money that will cover for the his tenure( four years), this means no strike for the next four years. then wether that government is reelected or not, the government that rule will follow the same. I believe the next 16years the FG won't be owning ASUU and strike won't repeat again.
Okay.

That's like 300 billion in 4 years. Roughly 75 billion naira per year.

In dollars, its about 100 million every year, outside the budget we have.

If we vote you in as president, can you really pay this every year?

Like, do you have any place to dip your hands and get this funds?

Blud thinks I will sit here and try to 'superiorly' argue with a Buharist and APC man on the failure of this administration. Werey wan dey disguise.
I will eat fried jeans before I embark on such foolish journey

In an economy where a 2008 car costs more now than it did in 2015. What is the metric anyone wants to argue. Which sector has not worsened fourfold?

Maybe na me needlessly close land border for almost 4 years and tripled the prices of foodstuff from rice to beans to chicken

He really wants me to sit here and argue whether APC and Buhari crumbled Nigeria or not.

Even we watching from outside and going and coming are alarmed as things seemingly get worse than the last time we left it everytime, never minding those that have to live in it everyday

Literally every consumable in Nigeria comes in sachets. Sign of a poverty economy. At the macro level, at the micro level Nigerians are in pain.

Yet this one wan make I dey engage in jejune debates. To prove what? Who that one EPP?

Will it change his mind? Will it change mine? Will it strengthen the Naira?

Governor Soludo has taken on the transport, parks, and market Cabals in Anambra state.

All taxes are now collected via POS, straight to Anambra Treasury.

Only Soludo can afford to carry out this type of tax reform, dislodging principalities that feed on illegal tax collections.

Anyway I didn't mention the amount that will be good for both parties, that's why I said they have to settle on concrete agreement that will benefit both, if the FG can meet up to 300 billion (that's fine), if they can't (reduce it to the amount they can pay).
My main point is let the money cover that government's tenure, at least it will stop this constant strike all the time, Till the full amount is paid.

The problem is not the mode of the payment but the amount the government is demanding.

The Keke people to pay 15k monthly, Bus and shuttle 25k or 30k monthly, like I heard oo. I will soon verify about it Sha.

The drivers re complaining that some of their buses re hire purchase and sometimes they don't work ( maybe issue with their boss or their bus in the mechanic), so let it not be mandatory.

They were paying over 1,000 daily. That should be 30k monthly

Soludo asked for 15k monthly and they are protesting.

Soludo had months back unveiled a new tax regime, which confers monthly payment of N15,000 to all tricycle operators, as against the daily payment, which the Soludo administration said amounted to over N1,000, and which was illegally collected

If Lagos Transporters have this Opportunity, they won't think twice to grab it. Perhaps because it's monthly and bulk payment, they assume its too much comparing to daily payment of 1k - which they are used to.

When we said things will be different, this is what we mean.
A new era of politics. No more Siamese twins of institutional corruption.

Voting Obi means having a totally independent leader, free from the shackles of traditional structures of the corrupt ruling class.

A wise man with a good heart. The leader of afeniferi, a prestigious Yoruba group has spoken.

There are millions more yorubas like these, not those whose hearts are filled with extreme hate and bigotry.

PS: I don't agree with some points that are ethnic driven but I agree with the points on equity and justice.

See.... this kinda lame excuse won't let a Nation develop. If they are contributing 1,000 per day, that'll be 30k per month.

In fact, they can easily contribute 2k per day, without affecting their target and other daily expenses.

Nigerians simply hate paying tax, but quick at blaming and cussing Government for infrastructural decays and lack of basic Amenities. Where do they want Government to get funds for projects?

Civil Servants are paying tax, so what stop Artisans from paying as well?! If the Bus is giving them headache, they should sell it and start farming Agbado and Cassava.

The problem with alot of local taxes is that they are black hole that go to the collectors

Can Soludo GUARANTEE that the local task force will not find a way to still collect money from the keke napep and Co?

For the transporters, this is an ADDITIONAL tax.
Unless there are public shows of task force /tax collectors being punished /jailed this may not work out in the long run. There is probably an entire economy built around all this direct tax collection

Peter Obi told you he'd rescue for you the same country where he did business and became a billionaire without cutting corners. Why didn't you ask him to first show you how to import and sell Heinz Baked Beans in a collapsing country, while canned food remained banned by customs? Copied

I wonder why state governors have not set up a proper means of collecting transport tax.
Income generated there will fix a lot of issues

They won't. These guy make their money daily. Some even deliver an agreed amount to owners of the bus daily or weekly whichever the agreement is. It is from their daily money that they take care of their daily expenses and needs.

Those guys will rather pay 1k daily than pay 15k monthly.
