Of course.
A comparison site will lead you to some finance companies, and if you check your bank app and you could probably get a quote in the app, depending on the bank.
Otherwise go onto your internet banking site.
Interest rate will be the determining factor, it varies depending on your circumstances such as how long you've lived in the UK and a variety of other factors the algorithms are set up to crunch, including amount and loan term. Some run hard credit checks.

Find the link to pay. Pay online, if you dnt have NIN, find nin centre and go and sort out NIN if you dnt have. It is 40 pounds. Before, during or after NIN book a passport biometrics date … ideally 2 to 3 weeks after ur nin capture. After payment for passport you need to book an appointment. Check the thread for the passport appointment booking link as well
Also need to buy postal order addressed to NHC for 20 pounds and if u wont b returning to pick passport up, buy a self addressed enevelope
Thank you for this detailed information. Is NIN still required for a newborn or only for those old enough to have a thumbprint?

To add to this, I was at the high commission last Friday to renew my Son's passport. Just ensure you get there early enough (8 - 8:30am) before they open and join the queue. They currently use a tally number system so it's first come first enter irrespective of your appointment time. I got in 8:30am and we left 12pm. We had all our documents though and didn't need to tip anybody, hope this helps.

NIN is not done at the HIGH COMMISSION. Check google for where to do NIN in the UK. Book to do NIN for every body that needs and go to the centre.
After you get your NIN which can be upto 2 weeks after doing finger print… then you can go to the High Commission in London for passport biometrics capture . Also note, you cant go to the High Commission without booking appointment online.

This is so shameful and insane.
Why it's so shameful and insane, it's not advisable for Nigerians to begin to report fellow Nigerians to the police, na all of us go suffer the backlash Las Las.

I suggest name and shame to prevent other Nigerians falling into such manipulation.

Hull be like tug of war for accommodation now oo, especially if you have a family.

They most likely will require a guarantor(home owner, as you won't have any credit history) your best option is to pay 3/6 months upfront, do zoopla Rightmove and Openrent fess, carry sheet of paper dey write their number dey call them, telling them your situation, one person go pity you angry

If you have a newborn, and you intend to travel with the baby to another country, will there be an issue returning to the UK as the baby does not have BRP, only the parents do.

They also had it coming. They want our money, they have to deal with the consequences. They can't eat their cake and have it.

Maybe they should try to stop people from bringing in dependants and see how many applications their universities will receive. cheesy
