Good day everyone, i have a question i need people with experience to help me decide on steps to take. I graduated from the university in 2020, and immediately started my housemanship which I concluded early this year and I am 29 years old. The next step for me now is to go for NYSC before i japa but there is a problem.

I have a hustle that i run from home, it basically involves research writing. I am an intelligent doctor and there is no paper i cannot write. With my skills developed over time, i do medical research, journal critiquing, and critical appraisals of randomized control trials.

Because i am very good, I have numerous clients some of them in their PhD, some MSc, in different parts of the world and i do these writings on a contract basis which the only date of expiration for some is 2024 but i do know that other contracts are on the way because i get many referrals.

I want to go to NYSC but I cannot afford to be in camp for 3 weeks because it will affect my hustle. I cannot find another person to do these because they are sensitive and mistakes will be costly and the people I work for cannot afford to stay without our partnership. I do this job every day, every hour and every minute I am on the computer.

My questions are as follows. Can I go with my laptop inside camp? If I do? can I find time to type on my laptop, say at least 5 hours daily?

Is there a way I can avoid going to camp?

If eventually i go to camp, can I use my sleeping hours in the night to work? I go to bed at 2 am, so I am used to working deep into the night.

Go to the camp first, wait till you are Group into platoon then talk to your platoon coordinator...

The 2nd day or 3rd day you will be grouped into platoon then talk to ur coordinator in charge (ur own group)

You won't have such space at the camp.

Go to camp with a medical fitness certificate that u r not fit for the camp. They will register u and ask you to go home. On d day camp close u go and take ur call up letter.

Go to camp and serve.

Think not what your country can give you and instead, what you can give back.
