Like Ronaldo, like sister. Very self-centered lots and everything about them is not for Portugal or the teams Ronaldo plays for but only for Ronaldo and Ronaldo alone. He exploits his teams for his personal aggrandizement and his commitment to the collective is only because of the opportunity to further his individual record which is paramount.

Can you ever imagine Messi or his family insult the Argentine nation when they criticize him? Between 2016 and 2019 when he suffered abuse from his compatriots did he ever insult the whole nation? He rather kept his head down and turned the tide and has now developed genuine rapport with the entire country. Now they are ready to die for him. I have a feeling many of Ronaldo's national teammates and countrymen just say good things about him to avoid getting him or his family upset because they know he'd throw tantrums like flinging captain bands, use his sister etc.

Truly he may be one of the greatest players of all time, but his attitude is a big letdown.

Thats not true... at 35 through to 38.. zlatan was in America and had retired from the national team ... he came back to Milan at 39... only did one season and packed up ... he was on serious holiday for 4 yrs in united States... Quagiallera had been finished after he finished as top scorer in serie a at 35... Ronaldo did same... besides , Quargriella plays for a minor team , he cudntvhv stood the pressure of top football at his age .... infact no striker has ever played for a top club at 36... mention one... only ronaldo have ever done it .. they can b subs , but not regular starters ... Ronaldo did it at 37 ... I Agree that its best he retires from international football after the WC and then after this season , he can play just one more season at Lisbon b4 he retires from football and then join Hollywood

BJ lamba I hail. Which one is only Ronaldo has done it? Del Piero was a regular for Juve at 37 and 38 years old. At 37 he had a whopping 45 appearances and scored 11 goals and mostly started the games. Even at 38 he was still regular to an extent cos he had a decent 28 appearances.

On Ronaldo's post-football prospect, I agree with you that he should go join Hollywood to act as robot as he has a very mechanical and stiff posture

Actually, I didn't expect you'd give up on him so easily though. Honestly, there's still a possibility of him bouncing back to his goalscoring best although his ball playing will continue to get worse.

He was 35 when he left juve and dint score a single league goal in his final season...the previous season he only scored 3 league goals and he was 34... he made only 23 league appearances in his final season...mostly used as a sub...go nd check Wikipedia or Transfer market
