Report emanating from Belgium indicates that Onyedika might not spend 3 seasons there. Many pundits believe he is too good for the league. They called him a better version of Paul Pogba. A star is born!!!!

hmmm I like the praise he's getting but they should allow him progress before putting unnecessary pressure on him by comparing him to Pogba.

Forgive me.

But the facilities look very poor.

Patchy pitches, no facilities in clear view, just surrounded by trees and one goal post .

In England we have categories of academies for instance EPL academies will all be cat 1, followed by a good number of Championship teams. .

I am going to watch a game a EPL this morning, If l were to take pictures you would understand , what I mean.

But congratulations on your son, it's a very long walk, waking up , going to training and matches in the cold and rain. He looks like U6, If he does well and be outstanding at U12 he can easily get picked up. Although with goalkeepers it can be very challenging, because it's only one position.

Take faith and BELIEVE it will happen.

Its a training u9's match so what facilities were you expecting to see? Lol

My son is in a local academy where we live in South West London and I am one of the coaches. It has links to the Fulham foundation, their training ground is walking distance from my house and my son has trained there too since he was 4!! My nephew is same age and is actually signed up to the foundation.

This was one of his awards a couple of seasons ago after one of the games with poor facilities. grin

We are Chelsea fans and also go to Stamford bridge together at least a few times every season and Nigeria games too when they're in London. I have added pics of us at Stamford bridge last season and Wembley for Nigeria v England. wink

When you say in England we this and that, fyi I have lived in London for almost 30 years!! More than 3 quarters of my life.

Goalkeeper but this season he has also been used in midfield. He does both roles very well so we are struggling to push him into one at the moment.

Now that you have something to do with Fulham maybe you might know komekn because he is a scout/ reporter/ coach with Fulham

But komekn that I know will avoid you since you work with Fulham This is your fellow Londoner who works with Fulham.

Ibrahim Said Bags an assist in Denmark for Viborg vs Onyedika's former side, FC Midtjylland.
His 3rd G+A involvement in the league and his 5th G+A of the season across all competitions.

Completed the most dribbles in the game so far and it's halftime.

Balling good.

Only injury can stop Haaland hitting 40 goals this season
United confidence is very low

Haalands finishing is unreal its pure fictional. If a movie 2as made of his finishing it will seem too sensational.
His finishing is better than any striker in world football. Even messi and ronaldo.
It does not make him the best player but his FINISHING IS OUTSTANDING.
That does not make him the best all round player but simply the best goal scorer in human history.
Or example okocha is one of the best dribbkers in modern football but he is not the best player.
HAALANDS FINISHING IS DIVINE

Forgive me like forgiveness.

You used the term academy training .

That in itself creates a plethora of assumptions, about facilities, infrastructure, coaching staff, environment, etc. Thats my understanding of a football academy.

I feel no reason to put my football CV on this forum , I don't need this forum to give me accreditation.

All Cat 1 academies have several age group foundation and development squads for players considered to be potential players for the academy. But are not based in the academy they visit on occasion but are not signed Academy players.

With regards to Fulham you should know Malcolm Elias head of recruitment , he is long standing professional associate.

I was at Liverpool FC this morning, l was talking with a African player who will leave in January. I also went to the academy indoor arena, where the U6/7 players train during weekdays.

I didn't want to bore you with pictures of near 20 different flat grass pitches for the academy plus a football arena where the U18 + Train.

But for those who do not know it gives some insight and prevents anybody from thinking I am an insensitive conceited Buffoon.

Once again congratulations to you and your son, we may come across each other. For instance I'll be at a youth tournament in Faro towards the end of the month .
