The Nigerian Senate needs to wade in…

Automatic refund on all bank fraud refunds…

Nigerian banks would know that their responsibilities are more than just sending stupid email not to reveal your pin.

It is high time EFCC, ICPC look into the activities of Sportybet and Nigeria Lottery Regulation Commission to seize SportyBet operating license until investigations are completed.

So many stories of criminals using SportyBet to steal money from innocent peoples account. Enough is Enough the relevant agency should take action!
The site allows you to save your atm card for "one Click automatic crediting" of your betting account.

Most of these victims are hiding the truth of what transpired.
Criminals run fake Sportybet Bonus ads on Facebook and gullible victims fall and give their Sportybet account details to receive the bonus.
Once they have access to Sportybet account and you were unfortunate to save your atm card for auto crediting... That's the end.

Putting your money in the bank these days is becoming dangerous. I always receive calls from strange crooks that seem to know too much about my financial details. How can one know these Info's if one is not an insider?
Most of these bank staffs are the real rogues committing these crimes.

Good. I was just asking.

Honestly we don't ever want the money we laboured for be wiped in a blink by these cursed boys.

Last week..a man narrated to me how they robbed him of his phone ..then later 1.7mil was moved from it. This is what I am mostly concerned about . I look at my phone sometimes and wonder what could happen if it gets in their possession.

My brother something similar to this had happened to me last year 22nd of February..
My first question is did you have any sportybet account...
If Yes..that means is the same thing with mine ..
Back then I opened sportybet account funded it with my ATM card some weeks later I got a text from someone saying I just got a voucher for hacked game on my account that I should login to a website to activate it..
Me being new to the app..
I followed all his instructions humbly,,
I got a 6digit pin from sportybet and I sent it to him ..
Unknownly to me that my sportybet bet account had been compromised..
The guy withdraw all my money and used it to play games on the account so that he could be able to transfer it to his opay account without no traces..
He change his opay account name to the name I used to register the sportybet account for successful transaction..
I did not receive any debit alert from first Bank immidiately I noticed I called the customer care of the Bank they were so useless they said the transaction was on pending..
I felt a little bit relax..okay cancel the transaction and give me my money back I went to their Bank several times without no number still today I never see anything...
I blocked the sportybet account and the Bank account that was my last Time playing bet

I think this is the same thing that happened to the guy based on this explanation

Filling a card dispute form takes 45 working days before you get any response, (that's if there would be a positive response) that's how the other day, my brother using Gtbank just started receiving debit alert from Kenya in dollar equivalent ON A ZERO ACCOUNT BALANCE OOH ( there was no money in the account) the Ops head said she has never experienced anything like that since she came to the bank. they debited him till the account got to -39k, that was when I called someone to block the account.
after a while he received a credit alert that took the account back to #0.00 another time he received an alert of 38k.

Strange things happening in banks.

So all the people above replying don't know that it's no longer safe to keep money at the bank. This was how my account was cleared and used to fund Sportybet via flutterwave and Paystack. The fact is that both Flutterwave and Paystack knows the Sportybet and Sportybet knows the account that was funded with full KYC, the BVN would have been blocked. But no the banks keep telling stories that I compromised my account. Now when I digged deeper I realized that bank staffs are in the business of providing your card details to scammers with your account balances after all they are the one that issued the card. Don't tell me a crap of OTP because there are gateways that are 2-D secure and so don't require OTP.

The scam is: an ananymouse person will contact you .they will send you a video showing how they funded sportybet with 1k and used a software hack to change it to 100k deposited to spotybet, then withdraw it.now they will tell you to register with sportybet and fund it with 1k.now there is flaw in sportybet that once you fund with card, the card details are stored aumatocally and you can refund using the card without filling the card details.and it doesnt ask for OTP like other platforms.you can also withdraw to the account in it.so after funding the 1k,the will send you a link to fill telling you its the hacking software to turn the money to 100k.once you fill the sportybet loging detail.they will login to ur sportybet, change the password and lock you the real owner out.remember your ATM details in still in the sportybet.they start funding the sporty bet using the card details then withdraw to thier own accounts.

We learn from people experience and become wiser, 5 years back i was expecting 690k from my buisness partner, i never trusted the guy but me i be sabi warri pikin too, a day to the day i was supposed to get the alert, my wallet was swipped from my back pocket in the night, and i dont put money on my wallet only my gtb atm card and complimentary card and all my close aquintances knows this, in my head i started suspecting that guy and i just had to wait till the next day to confirm my suspicion in the morning at about 7am the idiot called me to send him my account details and i send him my uba accout, because i have 5 account and only my gtb has atm card and the idiot was insisting i send him my gtb account so that it will be easier to transfer the money and i told him its uba bank or nothing and i was very firm about it and he tranfered the fund to my uba acct, bottom line the idiot was responsible for my stolen atm card so that he can use it to empty my account after crediting me. WE ALL NEED TO BE CAREFUL
