So it seems it’s a universal thing then. I’ve never had pamper rash also. Shea butter is the only thing I use for my baby all through no baby powder or baby oil of any kind.

Kikikiki…So true. I actually wrote it on my list when pregnant but the day I went shopping I didn’t see it so I just cancelled it out outrightly.

Yes, I sometimes use shea butter also. But I use shea butter as body cream for my baby also and I notice how the skin got darker overtime. Do you think it could be cause of the shea butter? I use less shea butter on my baby’s face and more on the body and the face is a bit lighter than the body.

I guess so, some babies react that way to Shea butter

It was made available for the first time last month. Tomorrow is supposed to be for her second but one of the nurses told me yesterday that it has not been available for some weeks now. I don't know why they can't sustain it..

That immunization thing is not easy oo on both babies and mums, may God keep them for us

I've heard of glycerine. I think you dip cotton wool in little and swipe over the tongue... If you have that finger brush for babies, it should clean with water

hello... Wanna say smtin abt dt salt u r using to clean baby mouth... Pls dont give baby salt to ingest cs it is said dt salt kill babies n toddlers brain cells... Infact in uk, we dont give babies bottle water cs dey put sodium in most of deir water... We just boil tap water n use to mk formula 4 babies... Ani ri laburu ooo... Amin!!! N moreover y dont u leave his mouth lik dt, no dey poke poke hand insude babies mouth, u fit introduce germs ehn... Shebi na breastmilk n formula u dey give am? Him nva start solid... My boy wey don start solid sef, ano dey wash him mouth cs der is no teeth... Cs dt is how i did his broda too n he doesn't ve mouth odour...... D white stuff will come off on its own...

True. When my mum insisted I cleaned my baby mouth every morning I asked his PD and she said baby’s mouth should be left like that no need for cleaning.

lol... D kid lik better tin ... C u, my almost 3yrs boss man still refusing to eat local food... Cereals yi sha ni... Let boss man eat his cereals ooo more ova e is still small but keep offering him d local food, nva get angry dt he is not accepting them, with time he will... At dt his age cereals ve all d nutrients e need.. I am sure u r not giving him just one cereals... Ur job is to mk sure e gets all d nutrients he need in a day everyday.

Just get ori and baby menthol eub it on its chest, under his feet( wear socks 4 him), on his hands (wear him mittens so he doesnt rob d menthol on his eyes) n rub on top n round his nose n if u can gt nasal spray, use it 4 him... My 6months old son too have cattarh (my fault... Didnt cover him well wen we went out into d winter... Didnt know its gonna b so cold outside)... We hv bein battling it 4 3days. Unfortunately, cant get raw sheabutter here, so i use baby rub n humidifier 4 him... I am getting nasal spray today... Doing everything possible to mk him feel okay... May God help us.

Weldone mama, that is motherhood for you, i remember when my son would refuse anyone to carry him except me, i started carrying him with his carrier around the house, but like mamas have said baby boys starts to seat at 4 months, and within 2 weeks they gradually perfect their seating without falling to the side

I am sure baby boy would have been seating fine now abi?

For me the pediatrician in Luth advised we use just cotton wool and water to clean out the tongue every morning before bathing and that's what we have been doing, and since then we don't have this issue anymore
