The Labour Party has taken over the Enugu State secretariat of the All Progressives Congress (APC).

The APC in the state has been enmeshed in crisis.

The crisis assumed a disturbing dimension after the party’s congress last year following the emergence of Barr. Ugochukwu Agballa as the state chairman.

Perturbed by the alleged poor performance of Agballa since he took over, a delegation of the party’s stakeholders in the state visited the APC national secretariat a few weeks ago and demanded the constitution of a caretaker committee.

But, Agballa dismissed the stakeholders, including the Foreign Affairs minister, Mr. Geoffrey Onyeama and a former Senate President, Senator Ken Nnamani.

Agballa has been operating from the South-East zonal office of the party since he assumed office.

The owner of the building housing the APC’s State Secretariat, located at No 126 Park Avenue, GRA Enugu, it was gathered was not happy with the APC over it’s inability to renew the rent

Surprisingly, the Labour Party has now finally unveiled the same building as its state secretariat.

That's good. APC is useless in Enugu. They barely had 10k votes in last presidential election. There's nothing like APC in Enugu, that's why Chimaraoke is supporting Tinubu from PDP. Let him move to APC, that will be the end of his political career.
