Run for your life, forex is empty noise, "play with what you can afford to lose" that's how you'll soon start selling your properties, hoping to get them back.

Listen carefully, non of the addict here is making profit, they lose more money than they make, ask them to show you their history.

Solution, go and learn an online skill, you work for 2 hours you get paid for 2 hours, you work for a whole day, you get paid for a whole day.

Most of this addict regret ever knowing forex, but they are too deep to get out, run before you become one of them.

I've quit forex gambling, I'm now focused on paying my debt, licking my wounds and healing gradually.

I met you on my way out, if you know what's good for you, come let's be going before they cajole you into becoming a victim.
so why are you still lurking around this thread? Lol, I guess you are looking for motivation and you can't just take your mind off forex!

What is d fundamental analysis behind GBP gaining strength. What is interest rate hike. Can someone explain?? Because gbpusd have been breaking higher timeframe resistance since last 3 days. The higher timeframe trend is bearish 4 hour upward while 1 hour timeframe downward is bullish.
I don't understand??

Analyze the market your way, and tell me what you see….
Let me hear your perspective first please.

There is nothing special in what the guy is doing but that risk management, only 0.5 percent of traders can do that. 10% drawdown in 7 yrs. Investors will easily give the guy money to trade.

That level of discipline I'm working towards. That's risk management on another level.

My FTA family una well done o.

I've read the ranting of this guy that lost and has been futile in discouraging people here from trading forex.

Please don't be drawn into the negativities thrown here by him or any other person.

There is this wise words spoken by someone I revere a lot that only fools doubt proofs.

I saw @infofirst post about his profits from prop firms recently and this guy still refused to take that home to challenge himself with.

I also don't know why someone will have to borrow money to trade forex you're yet to invest time to learn and hone your skills.

Haba that is silly as silly is.

@infofirst, I never forget the personalised ftmo challenge o if you're still doing it. Me I humble as I dey and na prop firm fit help me in furthering my discipline routines in trades and especially drawdowns.

@charly20, I hail you and appreciate your disciplined consistent approach to trading.

Please FTA family do not dignify that other guy promoting juju/voodoo in trading.

Diligence, discipline, patience and right mindset are the keys to success in any endeavour including forex in life.

Guard your minds please!

Peace.

Trade plan October.

All timeframe H1.

So far I've stayed out of aud, nzd, usd & cad pairs. (I'm open to trade aud now but no sensible RR on audjpy)

Anything x/usd trade it's till after next week cpi report on Thursday for swing trades.

X/jpy

I was hoping to buy Eurjpy around most recent low 137.3xx to the previous highs. Same for chfjpy , cadjpy.

X/usd

Eurusd sell to previous lows, gbpusd brief sell then a buy back, audusd also a sell to previous lows. But Watching out for nfp & cpi

X/chf

Probably a sell on cadchf at the most recent high 0.7287x. After their nfp on Friday might place a pending order.

Staying away from usdchf. Gbpchf is too expensive i no dey trade am.

Gold

Staying away. Although i reckon a pending sell around 1728.xx

Very few trades this month on my swing.

Very simple exit plan.

Price doesn't need to hit sl to be wrong. Simple price breakout & confirmation against me. i close my little losses. When right i take partial profit & move sl to breakeven.

I've been battling a monster it's called greed. I thought I finally won the battle until yesterday.

I took two trades UJ and GU. UJ had a fixed TP of 50 pips which got hit. GU had an initial TP of 100 pips, when it was approaching my TP, I know with the price action I was seeing that it'll head higher. So I shifted the TP to 200pips grin ( what a fool I was). I later checked the trade at night and I was almost 180pips in profit and I felt like closing it but I decided that I'll wait till this morning before I do and if it swiftly reverses and hit my SL, I will accept the loss like that.

Fast forward to this morning, I saw a probable setup that might push the market higher after the retracement, so I decided to place another buy limit order and put that TP equal with the position opened yesterday. Only for price not to reverse at that area, take out the new position and I was barely able to salvage 30 pips from the first trade.

I am pissed because it's a trial prop account and last week alonside this one has been slow, and I saw over 200 pips and let it go. All because of greed, I'll keep fighting this bad habit and I'll take a measure that includes always putting a fixed TP and never alter it irrespective of how sexy the price action might be. My risk management has improved a lot thanks to infofirst stringent challenge rules grin grin if not by now I'd have had over 5 percent loss. But I have just -1.3% total drawdown. That's miles of improvement.

I don't think the journey is that far again. Patience is on check, Money Management is on check, Greed must surely be checkmated too.

If there's any tip I can use to finally smother greed, please I'd like to know. Thank you.

It's not fixed. But average loss is around 30-35USD. TP is mostly 3-5 times more, but the past two weeks have been bad so I've been only seeing 1-2 RR's

I am a profitable forex trader. I have over 15years of trading experience.
Greediness still allow me to lose but I know what I need to do to eliminate losses in the long run.
Indiscipline, impatience and greed hold me back atimes.

Case study
Last August and September. I made more than $25k withdrawal from prop firms.
Just last week. I lost two out of my $100k funded acct due to gbpusd strike. Who was at fault for the losses? I am because I allowed my greediness to take the better of me. I saw a good reason to buy and instead of taking moderate risk, I took huge risk and paid for it.

GRIMMJOE:
It's very easy to fake being rich, most so called successful trader don't even trade, they just sell course.

If I ever go back to trading that's what I'll do, sell course of $350, use the money to brag as forex earnings, rinse and repeat.

As for prop, no firm will give you that money, you a Nigerian, a third world country.

GRIMMJOE:
No need to play schematics, nobody make money in trading.

Grimmjoe, seeing is believing (image below). Boss shared the sweet news with moi to encourage moi when I lamented how difficult forex was for me. Just empty urself and sincerely learn forex trading with all your heart and might. Roman wasn't built in a day.
