The governor said that the era of politics of bitterness in Rivers State was effectively over, noting that it was not rightto personalise governance as was done by the immediate past administration.Responding, former Governor of Rivers State, Sir Celestine Omehia described Thursday as the most historic day of his political career.

He said that the restoration of his rights as a former governor indicates that his dark political days are over.The event was witnessed by the Secretary to Rivers State Government, Kenneth Kobani, Rivers State Housing Commissioner, Barrister Emma Okah and the State Attorney-General, Chinwe Aguma.

In the eyes of the law, Celestine Omehia is not a former Governor, he presided over the affairs of Rivers State on a stolen Mandate.
Same as Chief Ngige of Anambra State, infact Senator Ngige was lucky to have stayed in Government House, Awka for almost three(3) good years, while the court case that brought Mr. Peter Obi was ongoing cheesy

Exactly! However, Governor Wike must know that all these his tantrums will never take him anywhere. Infact they will be the stepping stone to his political downfall. They north has given him a piece of their mind on his hardline stance against Atiku in so much that the latter robed the south in PDP of gaining the ticket to contest for the presidency.

However, Wike should know clearly, the north would never have voted him as president were he to clench the PDP ticket. Tambuwal treachery against him is a pointer. Peter Obi saw the unfolding charade and left early.
