Census coming at this time when the country is divided along ethnic, tribal and religious lines will be suicidal for the country to grasps.....
We need to be careful.
One thing I know is that kano state is not populated than Lagos state.

Why can't a state as big as OYO conduct it's census Without the control of Abuja ??

you can imagine what Makinde is asserting here even without any backing using reliable data. If you allow people like this to preside over their state's census, they would simply sit in their offices and cook up figures to enable them obtain a large monthly allocation from the FG. You can imagine how they have killed LGA administration using state electoral commission to conduct fake election where an opposition is not even given the courtesy of a councillor seat in the entire state.
If you ask me, state governments are the biggest problems in this current times

The upcoming population census would still come up with contestable figures at the end of the exercise because of our mindset of "number is might" and "might is right" which gives most times undue advantage to some States based on these bogus, contestable and inflated population figures.

Let's hope we get it right this time around!
