Hello mama, if it is for weeks better you see a pediatrician, when my son had cough and catarrh that lasted over a week the Dr had to prescribe some drugs/antibiotics cos it wasn't easing out and he said it was already infection, so pls see a Dr immediately but make sure to cover baby well and avoid direct fan on baby

Great seeing my mamas here, i am finally reporting to this thread since March when i had my son, motherhood combined with work hit be gbas gbos, but now gradually returning to my normal life.

God knows i cant cos takin care of baby sef ehn ve almost wound me, i don cry tire sef dis morning cs i remember wen i was still an omidan wit no responsibilities... Wen i only takia of mysef, looked at mysef in d mirror and i couldnt recognise mysef cs i now look fat n lookin lik an homeless person n my color faded (son inherited all my oyinbo colour) n i cried lik alot... I just needed to let the tears out to feel gud afterwards.. Plus i get irritated about everything... I am 100% overstimulated

I was still thinking about this some days ago. Those things they don’t tell you about motherhood. It is not just all bright and beautiful after the baby is here. It might seem selfish to some but try to close your eyes to some things and create time for selfcare for yourself.

Btw mamas, one boob is double the size of the other here o probably cause I breastfeed 80 percent with that boob. It is more convenient for me and produces more milk. I hope it will go back to normal after breastfeeding?

After managing it at home for few days I decided to take him to d hospital, the doc said he didn't have diarrhea but ear infection, he pinched his ears somehow and my boy that was sleeping started crying. I shock
So he said we would run some test and blah blàh, bill was Sha getting much, so I felt like since his HMO card will be ready d next week, there was no need spending so much money I will just wait till d next week.
The pooping stopped that day Sha so I thought there was no need going back again when the card finally came out.

Two months later, my baby will just suddenly start crying from sleep o and wake up, I had to Google it and google suggested ear infection checked his ear and saw some white stuffs in one of the ear dunno if it's water from bathing or d infection

So I'm just dying in my head right now thinking that maybe my baby have been having ear pain for the past 2months and I didn't know

For me the pediatrician in Luth advised we use just cotton wool and water to clean out the tongue every morning before bathing and that's what we have been doing, and since then we don't have this issue anymore

see who we have here mama gave birth finish and went mia on all of us I almost sent u a PM sef how baby doing. I am sure he is a big big boy now.

My baby girl just completed 2 months and her front hairs is pulling off leaving her with bald head� I don’t know what to do, is there anything I can use to prevent the pulling and also help her grow back lost hairs?? Mummies pls help me out

yeeeaah!!! Sm babies do shed their follow come hair n grow new hair... No matter how mjch d hair is, it will break away... As a muslim, we shave all babies hair, so new ones comes out.... D only thin u can do is just b applyin ori or vaseline... Der r absolutely nothing u can do... Just leave d baby head n b applyin ori wen baby is a yr plus hair will normally till adulthood

Don’t worry my baby was like that too. My Oga was even saying na from my family she inherit bald head from. But now the hair is so full to the forehead.

It can go earlier than that, babies differ. When my daught had it, we only massaged the tummy with hot water and towel often, my MIL would also place her on her laps facing down from time to time and the bicycle exercise at intervals too. We didn't give anything and it didn't stay up to the 2nd month

no na.. If u get d medicatn to manage d symptoms, e will b okay... Babies are alwz gassy due to there immature stomach... So to help ur baby gt d right medicatn, burp him/her always, do d bicycle exeecise 4 him or her to help with bowel movement... Wit all i ve mentn ur LO acid reflex may reduce or go on time, it is wat i did 4 my baby n by d second month of his birth e was okay, even thou i stopped d infacol on time d reflex neva comes bk...

I remember I saw a congratulatory WhatsApp message from my exboss when my son was 5 months old as in almost like I just shut out alot of things for me to get my bearing right, so no be say it was intentional but it just had to happen so I could reset and be okay first.

Of cos he is a big boy oo, already rearranging everywhere for me with his belly-crawling-self
