Stop misinforming the public. It is the largest and was commissioned during GEJ regime.
It must be difficult keeping abreast with statistics in Nigeria. Olam Rice farm is indeed reputed to be the largest rice Farm & mill on the Continent not even Nigeria alone
.
Armed with this info of their ranking, l would want to believe that this flooded 10k hectares rice farm facility at Doma , Nassarawa, hitting the headlines back to back since these past few days, is just one of their many facilities.
Because l am seriously confused. Omo Nigeria second largest Rice farm is kerekusk rice farm Nassarawa and Rotimi the owner was recently featured on Forbes interview & CNN interview. Nigeria Second Largest rice farm boasts of 45 000 hectares of exclusively rice dedicated farmland. Nigeria's second largest yielded about 8000metric tonnes of Rice (2016year) from its 45k hectares. & Was projected to achieve Maximal optimal production from the 45k hectares by 2020.

So why is the Nation's number one @Olam farms 10k hectares only? . What kinda statistics is this?? Sb out there clarify me please. Abi Olams has a lot of other farmland facilities besides this flooded one at Doma ?Abi it is located in far more fertile northern farmlands thus yielding more output capacity? Abi Olams is more mechanised than number two Kerekusk?

If you go to farm terrorists and kidnappers would end up deciding your destiny and if you stay at home hunger will kill you and you are here saying something else. Federal government should provide enabling environment for food sufficiently first or allow food importation

Yeah, that is why your government should also sit up and end that nonsense.

Overimportation is why we are where we are today.

It has nothing to do with weather forecast
Neighbouring countries are opening their dams
Cos if they don't it will burst
The effect is over flooding of river Niger

It time to put water irrigation system on his farm to channel the overflowing river in another direction

All because of rice?

You do not have a grasp of what Nigerians are going through.
Prices of common food items are beyond the reach of most people already, and by the time you add scarcity of food occassioned by flood to the already precarious economic situation, then there's every reason to be worried for the very near future!

Don't say my government, this useless terrorists friendly administration is cursed, it lacks the support of majority of Northerners including myself, let's go to my point, the government should either provide enabling environment for farming and business or allow importation of goods

Go and store rice now if u can, this alone is a precursor of what's in store next year.

Where is the rice to store. The govt has banned the importation if rice and flood has taken over the locally produced ones. Hunger looming

See reference to my reason for saying he should stop misleading the public!

There is a reason why the other farm was mentioned as the 2nd largest.

20 million dollars Kwa!Stop this exaggeration
Olam Rice is one of the largest rice farm in Africa.
Their rice is the most commercialized rice in NIGERIA as it can be found in all the major rice stores across NIGERIA.
We buy the rice a lot here in Port Harcourt.
